  • In this video I created the world's first ever banana guillotine to slice up my morning banana right into my cereal bowl on my favorite kind of cereal I use walnut and maple for this project and use a thin piece of aluminum for the blade Please consider supporting my channel with a shirt

    Some great commentary on this one. My favorites were:
    1. "Measuring some measurements."
    2. "Square it up with a square."
    3. "Screw it to it."
    I think #3 is my favorite. Sounds like a catchy slogan. Put it on a shirt or something.

      I watched a few entries. It was only after watching another entry where I heard it mentioned there were no prizes. I'd love to join in soon as my own wood shop is up and running. Ive seen a few challenges like the pallet wood, Christmas ornament and scrap wood. Keep em coming they're a joy to watch.

    Your next project, implementing a saw stop break cartridge in your design just in case you push the banana too far into the blade :)

    the top piece holding the blade needs to be heavier , also if ur blade have holes it will make the banana not sticking to it because of air ( i'm a chef ) =D

    I like it.
    However the blade needs to be as wide as the vertical track. In this application, for slicing a banana, I think I would narrow the track.

    Nice build, please post the first time someone slices off a body part. Only for that reason would I give this a thumbs down. A simple plastic guard to prevent anything other than the food from reaching the blade would make this great.Thus no rating.
