Great review! I actually bought this one too after the review and seeing a game in your review i forgot it existed. I only care about the game list and the child memories and that it plays correctly. After seeing that you connected it to the CRT TV that was my selling point. When I got mines and started playing a game that i used to play with my father, i just cried, it brought me back to those times! Thank You!!
Who cares if it's fake. You got 784 games for less than $150. That's not too bad. We're not all saints here, but nobody forced you to buy a fake system with pirated games. At least you didn't get a fancy box with a brick in it.
There are real Nintendo SNES Classics that have been modded to have every SNES game. The system in this video, even though it has all of the NA SNES games, is not real Nintendo hardware...

He's talking about the actual hardware being a knockoff. There are authentic SNES mini systems that have also been modded to hold every SNES game, so just because it has every game doesn't automatically mean a mini system is a knockoff.

Should open it up to see what's inside. I am pretty sure there's a micro SD in there. You can add other games for the other systems. I think it's a cheap version of the pandora key.
You don't need a crt to play old games. They play just fine on current tvs. Yes these were designed for crt monitors but its not like a game is all of the sudden unplayable on a lcd screen.
The graphics were designed to be played on CRT televisions. Period. They look absolutely awful on modern monitors and screens because the graphics were not developed to work with the new technology. And no CRT "fiIter" will be near as good as an original CRT and most filters just look awful. Then there is the issue of lag, which is a very real thing on modern tech but not at all a thing on CRTs...
bought one of these on Mercari that claimed to be the actual snes classic. seal of approval. nintendo snes classic box and it runs like garbage missing games Mercari wouldnt make good on the return and the same seller is still selling man im still furious about it beware
That sucks, and that is exactly what I was worried about with this one I bought. It played great but was missing some games, so I recently got a new one. I made a video about that one as well, it plays great and there are no missing games so check it out if you want a good one 👍
The original Snes look stretched out , washed colors on old Crt tv due small native resolution . The emulators upscale the picture add filters and look much better then it was on real hardware

I added some games to my genuine SNES mini (Pal version) including Mortal Kombat II, the Super Star Wars series and the missing Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 games!. I owned these games back in the 1990's. Yoshi's Island is my favourite SNES game and it is always great to play. Mortal Kombat II and III are superbly fun too.
Its emulation it is what it is mate, all that matters is it has save states in my opinion. Then you can spam levels in a game that are hard. Cool video cheers
You could save your own games that were missing and emulate from a download website onto there sd card they provided with system and make another video on that witch would be interesting as well to not showing how but proving it could be done.
150 its very expensive.. You can get a wii modded with the same game list with 64, wii games included for under $100 . Atleast in rgv texas Or a pandora arcade for $120~
They just re released these. Some of these are legit but ppl mod them. I didn't realize they made them actually looking exactly like real ones but if it plays well I'm here for it depending on price point
Learn from me. Nintendo company will never give you over 600 games in a console. These over 50 snes games in console are either authentic Nintendo modded or bootleg console with bootleg copied games (good or bad games).

Just go get a raspberry pi and make your own. That way you can put any system you want on it. With every game
