My 39 year old brother had covid and may have kidney and liver problems the rest of his life and 2 of my co workers passed away 😢 God bless the health care professionals!
Michael, stay strong and don’t let people who used to be close to you undermine your knowledge of your own body and experience. People with unusual syndromes are often dismissed by others. It’s frustrating, infuriating, and can make a person feel helpless - but you’re not! There are long-hauler support groups and it looks like you’ve got some good medical people on your side. Be kind to yourself; you can be your own best advocate
Bless you for sharing. I am a retired RN and wish I could still care for patients like you. All I can do is send you my gratitude for sharing your story.
I pray that Michael's gets better! So sad that he is suffering so much! And there are others out there who have had the same thing happen to them. Glad that he shared his own experience! I wish that more & more people would share their stories!🙏
Wow, thank you for sharing your ordeal, Michael. Will be keeping you in my prayers! Please be careful and avoid listening to those who chose to use, the word(hoax).....to describe, something you are feeling. Stay strong 💪💪!
I have an immune disease unrelated to COVID and have experienced my own body attack itself in ways that create various odd symptoms. Memory, energy, bleeding, skin issues, heart problems, kidney, liver, eyes, have all been introduced to my immune system. The symptoms are random, without known triggers, reactions that cycle up and down every day with occasional day symptom free. Micheal’s experience is new but can vouch that an immune system in overdrive can be devastating. While for me there’s no cure I hope that the after effects of Covid for Micheal are temporary.
D.B.- Wow, when you bring up that you have some immune system issue, that kind of sounds like a possible Autoimmune Disorder? Do you have any Autoimmune diseases? Have you been fully checked out? I would really love to hear more, because my Mom and I, have both been going through some different health issues, and for both of ours, it was a stressor that kicked it off. Do you know when yours began, and why? And yes, I hear you, when you say it can affect all different parts of the body! It sure can. I think that's what this brave post-Covid patient, is kind of dealing with. I read a study out of Harvard, or Mayo, or one teaching Hospital, that these post Covid symptoms occur after there was such an attack on the immune system, that it kicked it into overdrive, and the immune cells on different organs, then remain in hyper mode, in overdrive. And that can last a very long time. Even with some immune dysfunctions today like Pots, or chronic fatigue syndrome patients tend to get these weird symptoms, that may not be life threatening, but be life style treatening; meaning, it makes you slow down your life. I know I had to. Some keep it chronically. We'll see with Covid, if these effects just stay awhile, or do they stay long term or all your life. I'm sure there's all diff ways to keep boosting up your immune system, unless the Covid attacked the organs themselves, then it will be more serious... Blessings all. 💖🙏🙏🙏🙌💐🍀

Let’s talk about the brain, Dendrites The first two neuronal functions, receiving and processing incoming information, generally take place in the dendrites and cell body. Incoming signals can be either excitatory - which means they tend to make the neuron fire (generate an electrical impulse) - or inhibitory - which means that they tend to keep the neuron from firing. Most neurons receive many input signals throughout their dendritic trees. A single neuron may have more than one set of dendrites, and may receive many thousands of input signals. Whether or not a neuron is excited into firing an impulse depends on the sum of all of the excitatory and inhibitory signals it receives. If the neuron does end up firing, the nerve impulse, or action potential, is conducted down the axon.

I was born with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. I have a twin brother, i was born first. My brother was born with no problems. I take phenytoin for my epilepsy, as a child I was on phenabarbatone, then at 14 i was put on Epilim 500mg. Which caused me to gain lots of weight. I went to live in Canada for a few years where I was taken off eperlim & switched to phenytoin. Which I still take today. As a child I had grand mal seizures, which doctors said I would grow out of. Which I did, but I now have petit mal. It' feels weird when I have it, i can hear all thats going on around me, but ppl and any noise, sound much louder, plus it feels like I'm floating on water. Before the seizure I get the smell like burnt toast. I can have a seizure at any time, night or day. Unpredictable. I feel a little confused when I come round, which lasts for a couple of minutes, then I'm back with you again. Usually a cup of tea helps me recover. I read a lot of blogs where people who shared their testimonies kept mentioning Anti-seizure Herbal medication. I searched for a website I just followed the email address of Doctor Patrick that was shared on these testimonies; I got lucky when I got a reply from Dr. Patrick. I followed his instruction, used Herbal Medicine in less than 2 months, I was already cure because of the changes I was seeing. Within a period of 5 months, I was cured totally forever. I went back to my neurologist, I was checked up and marked epilepsy free. If you need his help you can Contact this herbal doctor via his email herbalmedicalhome@gmail.com and WhatsApp connection is +2348102558553 for help.
