So if you have a close loop are you not loosing some of the abrasive influnceing your water abrasive ratio

one thing i wonder about is as the overflowing slurry is filtered intoo clear water dont you filter most of the medium out over time ?

You let it stop and settle periodically before draining across to the filters. Bought machines do this automatically.
