Awesome review, Dave. You just saved me a lot of time researching these. It's been a while since I've used any (Old school NVGs around 2003) so I'm sure the consumer tech has jumped in performance.
Great review. To me that ACpotal took the gold till it fell on its face inside the studio. It actually gathered ambient light way better than the others. The others looked like they were 100% dependent on the IR illuminator.
Nice Dave like to get one of those one day.I like u new place to put some of your trail cameras behind u.Those lights under them is cool.Did u make that yourself.
WOW!!!! Awesome video. I guess the only thing is which one is better for battery power? Some take more batteries than others. I have the Creative XP which I am super happy with. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Awesome video! You remind me a little of Chris with Yellow Productions. He does travel reviews on Vegas and various cities. He always says the same thing as you. "Instead of saying goodbye, I'll see you in my video. lol Thanks again!
Great review, thanks. It is interesting to see the differences in performance and if we were to buy one I think I know what to be looking for now, thanks
Hi this was a great video! Most honest and most informative that I've seen. Thank you so much. 1 question, does the Creative Elite have a no glow IR illuminator?
Thank you for the comparison. A single screen from every unit would be nice. To see exactly how the picture looks like. I have the feeling when you showed the Acpotel. Then you forgot the manual focus.
I like all your cometary as well as the video footage. I am now looking into purchasing some sort of night vision/inferred device. Can you please recommend what would be the best to buy. I like all the bells and whistles type. View finder size, distance, video/still shot. Something worth the money. Thank you can keep up the great work. P.S. Does the Creative XP have audio?
Sorry for the delay! This comment fell through the cracks 🙁 The CreativeXP does have audio. If you’ve never had a digital night vision, you could go with one of the less expensive models to “get your feet wet”. All the units have many of the same features, with the more expensive units having better video quality and the ability to condense or expand the IR flood beam
the acpotel seems to have no IR filter and to me it had the best image . you can actually see the darkness where the others didnt seem to display anything
Nice job Dave. I appreciate it. Quick question. When you were showing the footage of the deer with the Creative, can you tell us approximately what distance was that? (at night) Thanks again
Hey great review. I also seen your review on the bestguarder nv900 which was a great review as well. Question. Comparing these 4 units and adding the bestguarder nv900. Now in your opinion which would be the top pick over all? I'm considering the nv900 vs the creative elites.. which would you say is best. Thank you sir.
I appreciate you watching! They are very comparable. IMO the CreativeXP might have slightly better videos but as far as night IR distance and function the Bestguarder is every bit as good as the CreativeXP 👍
Thanks for the comparison. The one I have right now is the igen 20/20, probably the worst visual out of any unit I've had, and I need an external dvr that I use for recording. But the one feature it has that I don't see on any of these you tested is a gain setting. That would be nice on one of these better units to pick up more or less if needed.
It would have taken a lot more time but, battery life. If battery life isn't good, then buying one without rechargeable batteries isn't worth the time or money.
These look awesome Dave. I have always wanted to some night vision gear. You do a great job with these reviews.
Thank you Titus. I appreciate you watching 👍
Awesome review, Dave. You just saved me a lot of time researching these. It's been a while since I've used any (Old school NVGs around 2003) so I'm sure the consumer tech has jumped in performance.

Thank you for the comparison. A single screen from every unit would be nice. To see exactly how the picture looks like. I have the feeling when you showed the Acpotel. Then you forgot the manual focus.

Nice job Dave. I appreciate it. Quick question. When you were showing the footage of the deer with the Creative, can you tell us approximately what distance was that? (at night) Thanks again
Thanks for watching. The small buck that was by itself was approximately 50 yards
