@@kevinkillelea8926 That's just how our ADHD life is. It'll take an eternity to get rid of all the drawbacks... better put that time in the few weaknesses that matter the most and try to make the rest worthwhile. Try Meditation, i'm going to start it to see if it can help.

That kindness thing is super important - last semester in college I tried to redirect myself into self kindness when I realised I was being overly harsh. At first it felt really weird and hollow and it still does sometimes but my grades went from Cs to As in a matter of weeks.

I am extremely hard on myself that I tend to disassociate, therefore creating setbacks on my goals. The need to remember not to be so hard on myself is so difficult.

Subbed. This was gold. I am not even sure whether I have ADHD but I have definitely problems with understanding time and progress and remote end goals. So thank you!

Can you please put a summery of your tips (bulletpoints) in your discription of your video?
It would help to keep the overview.
    Thanks.

I always found hard making lists , the hardest part is probably perception of what is possible to do in what amount of time and constant reconsideration. can happen today or week later, but goals constantly cycle around... and this has to be addressed ASAP because if you do not achieve a goal for a very long time it cripples your morale, then it is really hard to even name what you want, I'm not exactly sure myself or how would it make me happy...

Good advice but I find I'm so busy that my list never ends - always things being added. It is nice to see what's been done/completed though...

I feel extremely selfish because I’m constantly trying to keep myself in check and end up so focused on how I act around ppl I forget to relax and enjoy the moment. Then when I can’t think of anything to say I get so in my head about everything that I end up masking which major worse. The cycle sucks

I have an appointment with a psychologist to see if I want to go ahead and get diagnosed with ADHD. The secretary's first question was "Do you have health insurance?" - I do and she told me it costs about $2000 to get diagnosed..approx. - I'm a little dubious about after money was the first concern....not sure why I get that feeling...but...

Thank you for these videos. I recently got diagnosed for inattentive adhd and it was a weird experience and the doctor automatically recommended me meds and said I would benefit. Not sure if I want to take them I’m very scared and don’t want it to give me more problems or mess with my reproductive stuff ? Anyways these videos really help so I can try to manage without the use of medication.
