Grievous is pretty hard when you first start playng him in duels, but give it time and he becomes very powerful! Try do deal damage with your swings and then follow up with claw rush. I'd advice learning the parry. I have a video called "understanding the parry"

@@Xenithu ah ok, also are you gonna make a video about how to cancel parries such as chambering? I notice that not only is there the normal way where both sides parry each other really fast but you can also do forward jump attacks that hit your opponents block and cancel out their parry which can be good to drain stamina and reduce the risk of you being hit if you went for a hit but they had their block up, I’ve seen Soundwave do this a lot to apply pressure (different from her actual hookswings). I notice the hitbox of jump attacks sort of hangs in the air or moves with the character even after the actual animation is done or is close to ending, so can you cancel your opponent’s parry on purpose by doing a low forward jump attack or one that hits their block at the end of the animation because they can’t actually parry your animation as it already ended before it hit their block or is it simply ping reliant? I hope I explained that question clearly.
So I struggle with grievous in 1v1s. Based on your gameplay, are you meant to spam hook swings? That seems to be the only way to get any damage in, specially cause grievous only has one decent ability that you can use on good players. Please, Danny. You gotta help me out here.
Nice, id say that just good usage of grevious tech & ability combos vs some random people who really have no idea how to duel or how to play against a grevious. Still good clips tho not do discredit what you did in any way. Idk how level plays into any of this tho? Like any even level 25 grevious with purple starcards could do all of that.

I think that parry timing is one of those things that get better as you play the game more. I didn't really do anything to train parries tbh
