Your 'have a go' mentality really changed my life! I didn't realise how constrained I had been by fear of judgement or awkwardness until I finally comitted to saying Yes!! It's been so so so rewarding, so thank you for always advocating it . (Also- if anyone else needs a little help putting themself out there. Read Shonda Rhime's Year of Yes. It's fantastic!)
I've always had this saying, "Put a smile on your face, leave the haters behind and live a positive, upbeat life - it will repay you a million times". Whenever you can - walk away from negativity.
I just moved to Seoul for college and I can relate so much to what you said about cities and being alone. When there’s so many people around you, it feels like everyone is involved with their own thing. No ones really gonna come up to you and strike up a conversation. Making friends is not as easy as it would be in a more familiar situation. You really have to put yourself out there if you don’t want to be lonely for an extended period of time and it’s such an important lesson to learn, especially for someone as introverted as me. It’s hard but I’m getting there. Putting myself out of my social comfort zone has allowed me to make so many great friends so far so it’s definitely worth it
I love to see someone going through the transition into adulthood who is so honest about everything. No one talks about how the little things are the scariest sometimes! The roommate oreo story was very cute and so brave haha
This really made me smile; thank you! 🌟 there are definitely so many little scary things that are easy to overlook! Thank you for the support on the Oreo story too haha - so worth doing! 😉 sending lots of love right back at you in Argentina x
I love your videos because they’ve recently normalised ‘failure’ (even though the word is stupid). It just proves that things like rejection from Oxford happen to us all for a reason. You wouldn’t have accomplished what you have. Sure, millions have gone to university but how many at your age can say they’ve travelled alone around Europe? Very few! Thank you for this motivation and I love your videos! 💓
I agree with you. Also, there are many people who go to school and do GCSE/A - Levels but only a small fraction of them are study tubers( people like Jade). Also regarding the rejection from Oxford, I think it is good that she good rejected(not being rude to Jade) because it allowed her to share her feeling about how she felt and how she coped with the situation, and in turn, people watching the video who watches it because they have had a rejection from Oxford(or any other uni, for tht matter) would know how to cope with the situation.
i haven't watched u in ages, and just watching u now made me remember how much i like your videos, your just so positive and motivating and calming i literally feel as though i'm talking to a friend.
You literally inspire me so much, I'm going through a hard time right now and watching your videos really gives me hope for the future. You are so amazing by just being you, your positivity and kindness is EVERYTHING. Watching your Interrail series made me feel so excited for my own trip and you just gave such a positive and real image of it all. Just keep doing you and never lose that spark for life that you have ✨✨ I love you!
You are genuinely my biggest inspiration. In terms of motivation, body confidence, positivity- you are changing my perspective of the world around me everyday.. Than you for everything you do
as a londoner myself i completely get how the city can be daunting and isolating, and what helps me is definitely having favourite areas, like i love camden and the south bank and i go there if i have nothing to do. sometimes i forget how important it is to connect to the city because it gets lonely very quickly and it was so interesting to see a (slightly) outside perspective from this video! i love you jade and you always make such intelligent points about things so it was great to watch such a chill video of yours xx
I love the way you approach life. As a 20 years old young lady I can only feel inspired by this video. I know exactly what you were talking about when you said to "get comfortable in the uncomfortable", to get out of our comfort zone because even when we're content with what we have and what's around us, there's still a world of opportunities for us. Sometimes all we really need to do is change our routines and try something new.
jade only 18 days until I receive my motivated t-shirt. I remember when it was 54 days and now it seems so close😀 my mum brought it at exactly 6pm when they first came out and she came me the note that has literally kept me going through mocks. thank you jade. the line 'all the motivation you needs lies right there in front of you remains in my head everyday and has brought me through the toughest times of procrastination. I'll never be able to express to you how much you've changed my life😙
Jade I don't know where to start. You are SUCH an inspiration. I have followed you from the start and you never fair to make me smile on a bad day. I have so much admiration and love for you and how real you are. You are my fav UA-camr HONESLTY. THANK YOU lets just I've so much to jade 😍😍❤️
Jade, you are so inspiring. I love sitting down to watch your videos like this, you have one of the nicest voices ever?! The way you are all for your own (and others) self growth is so humbling and hearing about you putting yourself out there to socialise has made me realise that this is probably why I am not enjoying uni life and city life that much. Next year, I will be moving to a different city for uni (I'm on a foundation year this year!) but I hope that by then I will be more invested in bettering myself and becoming the best version of me by putting myself out of my comfort zone. You are just so pure and real and I love everything about you, I wish we were real life friends so I could come to you for a chat and a mug of tea! Love from, Megan.
I saw the thumbnail and my first thought was: "IS THAT GEORGE EZRA???, no can't be!" but then I read the description and Oh MY GOD I AM SO JEALOUS, this is unbelievable. Also your life just seams like a dream to me, I hope it'll continue for you like that :)
Grabbed a coffee & completely chilled while watching this - thank you for your videos Jade! Guess I feel some parallels with your life as am also someone who really cares about studying & travelling (plus the added fact that George Ezra is the love of my life!) and totally agree about the comfort zone thing. I'm currently in my third year of uni and am studying abroad in NYC and it really took me pushing myself at the start to ensure that I made the most of it and met people but know it was totally for the best!! Am now super excited to travel around Canada next year too, largely inspired by your videos, and am going to make sure I do the same in hostels :) Hope you have a great weekend x
Thank you so much for your lovely message!! ☺️ I’m so glad you pushed yourself out of your comfort zone - it literally sounds amazing! And CANADA too!? I’m sure you’ll have the most incredible time of continued self growth! So much love xxx
@@UnJadedJade and thank YOU for yours! You're such a gem for replying and I'm so excited to see what you do next, as well as your journey when you're at uni. Loved, loved, loved this video! I love how open you seem recently and your honesty is sooo refreshing . It helps me a lot with my social anxiety that even after three weeks of traveling you're still intimidated by roommates. Thank you and continue the good work :)
Jade, this video is making me tear up - your growth over the past few months is making you such a deeper, more fleshed out person (at least for the first time on camera), and I love it so much!
Love you so much Jade your story telling style is so chill and relatable. Love all the steps you’re taking to improve and grow as a person! So inspirational❤️
Love this video Xx jade you have always been mature but u really have seemed to grow up, with your gap year experiences. Are you planning any more travelling as I love your travel vlogs! Love you jade xxxxxx💝💖💝💖
This made me smile, thank you! It’s crazy how much being in the “real world” and adulting has made me mature. I’m actually going to Australia in about a week and a half..! 🙈 I’m so glad you enjoyed the travel vlogs so much! I can’t wait to share even more adventures (this time where I might be a lil bit more tanned...!) 😉 x
Hi Jade, I really love what you said about everyone here being somewhat like-minded, and I wanted to tell you a little about who I am and why I'm here. I'm 29 years old and from the US and I've already finished all my schooling, so I'm probably not your usual demographic! But I find your message and approach to life really inspiring and I really love getting to come along on your journey into adulthood. I loved school and learning and actually studied molecular biology at university, so we have that passion in common. But I just wanted you to know that you're reaching a broader type of audience than maybe you realize and you should be really, really proud of that. You're a positive force in this world and we need so much more of that! Thanks for being you, Jade. I really hope we run into each other one day
I had chills when you said that we are here watching your video because we share common interests. It was excactly what I first thought when I came across one of your videos one week ago.Love your energy Jade! Keep it up😊
I agree so much about the small parts of nature not really being enough, I needed more haha. Love how amazing you’ve been pushing yourself to meet people! And the honesty about being a full time UA-camr👏🏼💛
This is the first of your videos that I came across and at first I saw the length and was thinking nah maybe I’ll just watch the first few minutes but twenty minutes later I love you and your channel and feel so relatable so thankyou x and keep being amazing
Fantastic to see you rocking your curls! Thanks for the salon recommendation - I also tend to put my haircuts off for too long because I've had too many bad experiences with my curls.
I love your videos but my favourite ones have to be the travel blogs. I have watched these videos since about 2 years ago and I can't believe how far you have gone. YOU ARE MY HERO
Okay so i never really write comments on youtube but Jade you're sooo lovely and inspiring that i just feel like i have to! i've been contemplating going on interrail around europe on my own for a while, but i wasn't sure it was going to be worth it, until i saw your video on your experiences around it. now i've fully decided that i'm gonna go next summer! i love that you're so focused on self-growth, as i've been very focused on that myself lately. you and your videos inspire me so much to just do whatever i want to do, and not care about anyone else's opinions, so thank you!!! i'm hoping our paths will cross one day! much love from norway!
Thank you so much for this. You look so happy and so grown up since I first watched you in 2016!! It's been a really bad week norovirus+emetophobia at the moment is not going my way. Thank you so so much. ❤️
I just recently moved to London for uni from the US, I can relate to so much of what you are talking about with trying to be comfortable stepping out of your comfort zone. Also, (referring to around 17:50) if you are looking for a park to escape the city definitely check out Richmond Park!
*18 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! Who’s excited!?🎄 Such a huge inspiration! Love you! One of my absolute faves! One of the people who inspired me to start youtube!💗*
Oh my goodness, you’re actually amazing. I can’t believe how relatable you are at the same time as being such an idol. Really hope I get to meet you some day.
My boyfriend was telling me a story today about his dad being on the tube once and it broke down. After about 5 minutes of it not moving a couple people started talking and then after 10 mins everyone on the tube was chatting away. Then as soon as it started moving again everyone stopped talking and went back to reading/ on their phone. You're so right about everyone being in a trance-It's crazy that in a city so big you can feel so alone. Loved the vid!
i completely know what you mean about london and the tube with no one talking to each other!! i’m from the norfolk countryside where everyone knows each other and it’s honestly so scary going to a city where people always look so unfriendly - i’m so glad that you’re aware of that also i thought it was just me 😊
Wow, George Ezra is my favourite. I would love to meet him so much. I saw him perform in Amsterdam in October and he was incredible, such a genuine personality!
"when we meet I feel like we just gonna click" that's what I was thinking throughout the whole video. I would absolutely love to talk to you in person and actually meet you one day🥰💕
Thank you for being a wonderful blessing to everyone 😍feel so comfortable to watch your videos. In a place(Hong Kong) where I am living in, many people like to judge others, it make everyone has a lot of stress to be a “well-being person to be seen by others. I just hate the pressure! but when I watch ur videos, I just become comfortable with myself and others, realizing all of us just don't have to be a “well-being to others 😆💪🔥🔥love u so much
Came across you channel a few days ago and have watched all your interrail videos and you have such a great energie! I love it! Trying to learn from that 🙃 feel like you gave me the right energie I needed to get back to school after xmas break. Just thought I would share that 💕
MyBakingFever I reckon she’s reapplying for Oxford.the only reason she got rejected last year is because she applied for deferred. She would walk in this year ngl
love what you said about leaving your comfort zone! Since I started uni I've been going to different events and different places on my own and it's been amazing - I feel so much more confident in myself and ability to talk to people. I can go where I want whenever I want and it's so freeing I love it so much. Plus it allows me to fully immerse myself in whatever I'm doing and I feel like I get so much out of where I am and what I'm doing. Of course I love doing things with other people but I've learnt how to enjoy being on my own and it's allowed me to grow so much as a person. So I definitely recommend leaving your comfort zone to everyone!!
oh jade, with your love of nature i cannot wait to see what you make of australia later this year. i’m from here and can absolutely vouch for the most amazing beaches and national parks, please message me if you would like a locals POV on some must-see locations xx
heyy jade ☺️ just wanted to say you're hair looks amazing ! i wish i knew how to deal with my unruly curly hair and i can definitely relate to your hairdresser experiences.
jade watching ur progression in life in general is amazing, so proud and happy to say i'm an og 😍 was just wondering where the link for ur study t's is? i'd love to own one!! hope ur day is super awesome :-)
I have an interview coming up soon, and I'm extremely nervous for it. Thanks for this video Jade, it really has helped me come to terms with my imminent discomfort!
Oh my god Jade. I've never heard anyone else say this about London but after living there for 3 years while I was studying at Kings... I was craving open fields and beautiful countryside as I come from Cambridge area. I am so grateful for my time in London but that feeling of loneliness and lack of greenery really got to me. Now I'm happily living in the countryside again 😊
omg that george ezra gig was honestly the best thing ever, still so so so buzzing that we met him

One day, I really do hope our paths cross!! ❤️❤️☺️ we can be curly twins ;) x
Just thought I would share that 💕
Really happy to hear you’re hanging out with people! I’d totally love to live in a place with weekly events like that!
So proud of you Jade!! I love London, hope to live there too someday, it is gorgeous at this time of the year!
I bet she's writing a book
MyBakingFever I reckon she’s reapplying for Oxford.the only reason she got rejected last year is because she applied for deferred. She would walk in this year ngl
MyBakingFever she is, she said it in the study with us vid
@@hari7591, she is not reapplying for Oxford as she got a place in Bristol and she is going to start next academic year.
TheRevise Guy she can accept the Bristol offer and still interview at oxford
@@hari7591 why would she get rejected for applying as deferred??
why did the orange box disappear though 0:07
I love George Ezra!! He seems like the sweetest guy ever 😭💖
love what you said about leaving your comfort zone!

And the city trance is ABSOLUTELY a thing
Also I'm a nurse so well done for getting your vaccines x
Loved this video!!!!! As usual!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
