There's not a lot on this subject on UA-cam, the Heritage Men's Style, so here I am starting it for us so we can discuss it.
Also a quick update on the Iron Heart 666s 21 oz Selvedge Denim.
Many men's styles are focused on current trends but I found myself going back to this heritage style over and over again. If you are finding yourself coming back to this heritage way of style then embrace it and let's do it right together.
This channel is about boosting men's confidence, especially men in their fourties or later. It also applies to any men, I mean real MEN that aren't afraid to wear what they want!
Heritage Style for men and this one is focused on the 3 basic things you need to pull this off.

I have been a Levis, tee shirt, and sneakers guy all my life. In my late fifties, I know I look dated, but I figured there was no such thing as fashion for men my age. Listening to your channel has changed my mind. I had never heard of Heritage men's style until I saw it in your videos. What I like about Heritage is that is it similar to what I always wore but has much more style and makes me feel cool, something I have not felt in a long time. I still have a lot to learn. Thanks for getting me started.

Hello from England, Im 59 my mum gave me levis in the 70s they are not the same now ill get some Iron Heart as soon as possible. I've got Red wing boots aswell love those things.
I grew up in Alaska. Learned at a very young age that clothing is #1. Now, after the military, I live in the deep, deep south. I wear redwing heritage, selvedge jeans, and smartwool heavy socks. You'll almost never see me in shorts. Even though it's jeans and boots, as far as I'm concerned, it's far more classy and presentable than wearing pajamas in public. I just always dress like this to be prepared for anything that comes my way. I ride motorcycles as well, and it's also protection from road hazards. I get asked often, "Man, don't you sweat in all that?" Uhh yeah, but a little sweat won't hurt you lol.
Great video my man, I'm 50 years old hispanic ( mexican ) guy and I recently got into iron heart jeans and heritage clothing, I also smoked my first cigar ever last week ( I had a perdomo 10 year anniversary Champagne which I really enjoyed ) I really love the look of heritage clothing and my small collection of boots, I do have other mens shoes mostly vintage florsheims but I find myself reaching out for my alden, redwings and logan cap toe boots most of the time, I'm proud to say I own the 634S model,666, and 888 models as well on Iron hearts and I will be wearing those in the years to come to hopefully get some nice fades, I appreciate your time and you videos keep up the good work

Bronco is looking great. I didn’t realize you had 2 nice classic Broncos! The selvedge jeans with the iron rangers is the perfect combo along with the well fitting t-shirt. Keep up the great heritage style videos. What kind of cigar are you smoking in the video? It would be great if you made a video of how you pick out your cigar brands. Thanks! I love my cigars and I just filled up with a box of Oliva Toros. I also like the premium samplers that Famous Smokes put together and that one is the Sobremesa. I just finished a box of Macanudo Inspirado and boy that was good. Sorry if I’m rambling about cigars… just love ‘em!
Your going to trip on this, about 3 years back I picked up about 6 pair of 14oz salvage jeans from target Goodfellows $30 per, also found a salvage denim jacket same brand. So far hella good, I still haven't worn the jacket its xl and looks really nice. I was like hell na Target. Lol

I agree with shirt, jeans and work boots being the foundation. I also remember all the men wore a long sleeve shirt, Chambray in summer and flannel in winter, and a hat.

@@StylishGreaseMonkey i live in Alabama so leather was rare except in winter. Straw and beaver felt Stetsons, trucker caps and baseball caps from the 20s and 30s but with hickory stripe, denim or tweed.
Had a pair of Corcoran Tanker boots that I cut the straps off and added coyote brown eyelets for use in uniform. Got nothing but compliments. Gonna grab another pair a remake my beloved roughout jump boots.

I would add a good leather belt. I’ve always felt that if you don’t have a belt, you’re not completely dressed

Been rocking 555 size 34 lost bunch of weight I think for this I’m going to pick up the 666 what do you feel like the real world difference is. Having watched most of your vids over the years I think you wear both styles.
I think Converse Chuck Taylors would be a good substitute for boots, in my opinion. Especially the Chuck 70s, since they're a more durable/higher quality version and fit the 1950s heritage look. RW Iron Rangers are great, especially when they are fitted properly.. I just don't choose to rock boots the majority of the time, since a regular pair of shoes like Chucks or Vans are more flexible and easier to run around in. But I agree with you 100% about your thoughts on a basic tee and selvedge denim. Can't go wrong with Iron Heart denim, the quality of their products are second to none. Great video bro!
I agree. I only wear RW’s or chuck 70’s with my 888S-21 pair which has been every day for three months. Love the look all around
I do that exactly. I have the old school chucks in low. I also wear an all black vintage vans. It does get a little hot around here and the lighter shoes is a great option. I do wear my 1907 almost daily though while working in my garage and yard.

Hey Drew, sounds like a plan haha. Mine was tight in the beginning but eventually stretched out. I also lost some weight so it’s better now.
so you sized down one size when you bought them wear a 34 and buy a 33 ?
I did with IH. Take a look at the recommended sizing on their sites before you purchase or talk to a service rep. Each would be different. Also keep in mind that sanforized jeans stretch out over time.

I order mine directly from IH America. There are retailers around the U.S. and a list is available on the IH UK website to see if there’s one near you. I have none here in Hawaii.

Well, I normally don’t back down from stupid shit like that and besides I was brought up to hold my tongue if I didn’t have anything nice to say. Besides, I believe we all have a different take on how people look.
I’m making a video about this topic by the way! I love to work out, hike, run, and simply being active all day. I also love food, beer, and cigars since I truly believe that being happy is a balance. I have nothing against really good fit men and admire men with inherited good genes. I don’t care much about unnatural men but understand to each his own.
