Innocent Railway, Edinburgh

I love cycling on the disused railways in and around Edinburgh. The Innocent Railway used to be a goods line transporting material in and out of the city, particularly coal from the pits around Dakieth.
The earliest parts of the railway were opened in 1831 and it was the first railway to serve the city. These days it is a cycle path connecting areas such as Craigmillar with the city centre.
