- Here's how I achieve a low sleek ponytail/sleek bun on freshly washed hair. It's a great style if you need to wash your hair and leave your house looking cute in a couple of hours. It's also a great way to dry and stretch your hair while looking great. This is my to-go for a lot of formal events, I like to serve my face in all it's glory lol

Aaah yes, banded ponytails is a great style to wear when you don't have a clue what to do with your hair. A MUST hairstyle, love it!!😋😘
I didn't think the banded ponytail would look good on my hair because it's only shoulder length. By the time I finished and put the bands on my hair it came out so nice!!! The bands stretched my ponytail and my entire sleek ponytail looks so polished on my shoulder length hair. I'm so glad I found you again! Here's to restarting my healthy natural hair journey! Hair twin! My hair is similar to yours. It’s very thick, dense, and long! To my lower back when stretched . This video was so helpful, I’m going to try this on my hair.

Hina Han Lydia from Lydia and Alma on UA-cam did it. Her hair isn't as long but she did it. I can't remember which video but it's either how to lay 4c edges or Lydia' s fro tutorial were she did this style. She uses this method to stretch her hair.
I'm 4c. You can make this happen. I promise you.
So today I used this technique to put in a ponytail. I have super thick hair. I dont know why I haven't thought of this technique in the 5 years of being natural. Thank you so much!!
Literally my favorite style to 1. Dry my hair for a stretched roller set or 2. Put my already stretched hair away before i wash it. Super under rated hair style. I love that i can take the first anchor ponytail out when I’m home so there’s no tension and without messing up that style. I just put the ponytail holder back.

I use a banded ponytail as my protective style under my wigs. I typically do it on wash day while in the shower.
i usually do that to stretch my hair. I wanted to go out like that but never dared. But now i will !!! its very pretty thx sis!

Thanks for sharing wash day styles. I usually stay in the house all weekend with twists because I don't want to take them out while they are wet. I am going to try the style and the tip of applying the Blueberry Bliss to avoid the white cast from the gel.
