The IM2 War Machine is still the best design for him in live action. So bulky and rugged looking which suits him perfectly. Making him more sleek like they did later on kinda takes away the difference between his suit and Tony’s.
Same, I’m very thankful for my mom since she got both the hulk and the abomination figures, might not be the one of the best hulk figures but I still love it till this day
You should check out Incredible Hulk, it’s so much better than people give it credit for. Also the figures aren’t great but there are some cool ones, like a hulk with a police car being used as a boxing glove accessory
Great video. I remember seeing the first Iron Man after work one evening and calling my buddy up afterwards and raving about it. I am a huge fan of most of the Marvel movies and the figures are great. I don't have a ton of them. I was picking up the Iron Man figures for a little bit because I loved the movie so much l, but stopped as I only wanted to concentrate on Spidey. But I have a few figures here and there.
I hope they'd Make MCU Whiplash Taserface Ego Stakar (Stallone figure) Malekith and kurse Meek from Thor Ragnarok Astronaut Stan lee MCU gotg Watchers Edward Norton Hulk Ànd yes The No way home wave 2 Well it's Hasbro we can all wait but they'd be fun to have
Man those original Habro Iron Man figures were a huge part of my childhood. I remember being 6 years old in the theater watching the movie in 2008 after watching the original Iron Man cartoon since I was 3 years. I got the Mark 1 figure in a walmart and its still one of my favorites today. Its wild how neiche liking a character like Iron Man was before that movie. Im still younger but seeing the such a drastic change in the perception of a character was wild. I remember friends of mine joking me for thinking Iron Man was cool before that film
Also forgot to note some other "Avengers"-related items in my collection - while I also have the Mark III in my Endgame battle display, the primary armor taking a spot there is the Mark VII rerelease from the "Ten Years of Marvel Studios" line. It's my favorite iteration of the MCU Iron Man suits, so I'm glad to have it. Not on display but still in-box for now (since I need a huge space for it), I also won a contest a few years ago, obtaining the grand prize of my [at the moment] one-and-only Hot Toy...well, two actually: the double-pack of Bruce Banner and Hulk from that movie!
@@Jared-by8oq Well those figures have the basic toybiz articulation, articulated fingers and what not, hasbro always used molds made by toybiz and if they didn't it wouldn't be very detailed. The Ghost rider movie most likely started development in 06 or 05 which gives toybiz plenty of time to sculpt.
I actually have one of these figures surprisingly I just never really looked at it that much but apparently I have 1 of these figures. By the way this is a great way to kick off the weekend with another awesome mystery Box or in this case history box
I've got a lot of thoughts about these toys! Loved the toy line for the first Iron Man movie, although the only figure I got was the traditional Mark III with an arm-cannon play feature. It's nowhere near as nice as the Legends figure we got from the Infinity Saga line (might have gotten that one instead if I didn't already have the original figure!), but I think for the time it's pretty good. Though I cannot say I was into the first Thor movie, that line of toys looked awesome. Even with rudimentary head sculpts, those were some cool costume designs translated to plastic! Honestly, Captain America: TFA is still one of the best solo movies we've had in the MCU, and it still has a place in my top 10 MCU movies personally. These figures look okay, though we've gotten some better representations of that era of characters in future lines (as you mentioned with the Infinity Saga two-pack of Cap in his "propaganda bonds" outfit with Peggy Carter). Avengers 1 was a great movie experience in theaters, even if I don't think it was a perfect film all-around (some of the lighting and shots feel too much like TV stuff, i.e. not as cinematic; the pacing is off a bit, with too much time spent on the Helicarrier in the second act). I don't know if I'm the only one, but I loved Cap's suit in the movie. Aside from the ear muffs making his head appear "shrunken" in the cowl, I thought it was a great blend of old and new elements for the "stars and stripes." While the original figure may have been *chintzy* like the other kid-geared toys from the movie line [especially the garish tones of blue paints used], they did rerelease an official Avengers 1 Cap from the "Endgame" series of Marvel Legends. QC-related issue aside (from the plastic being kind of cheap on mine; the legs are prone to warping - already had to do the "warm water, cold water" trick twice to put them back into shape!), it is a glorious figure as part of my faux-final Endgame battle display.
With the exception of Civil War and maybe the Guardians I think the original Avengers is still the best ensemble super hero movie. When it comes to balancing each character and having them actively interact with the story and organically bounce off of one another it’s unmatched. The original X-Men films, either Suicide Squad, either Justice League, and even Infinity War and Endgame don’t have as many moments of the individuals just talking and bonding with one another. And it’s not like the characters immediately get along and are a team either, they struggle to meld with one another, that by the end when they actually ‘assemble’ in that iconic pan shot it feels so earned and like it was truly built up to. And that was only possible with the incredible ground work they laid with that first set of 4/5 movies. The MCU may be feeling a little fatigued eight now to some, but let us not forget what an incredible achievement it was. Marvel managed to build a shared movie universe without Spider-Man, Wolverine, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Blade, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, and basically all of their most popular characters. It truly is astounding how good the Avengers was and still is.
It's Age of Ultron for me, being the best (actually showing the team interact and struggle with each character's role in battle and in public) on that mark.
Mark 4 is the one he wears in the scene where he's in the big donut Mark 5 is the one he fights Whiplash with on the race track Mark 6 is the one he uses in the climax with War Machine Just thought I'd let ya know!
I wonder which one you prefer iron man or Captain America I say I prefer captain America , the reason why I pick captain America is because he doesn't need powers to win a fight and iron man use a suit that can fly and has power well I mean it's dam right cool but I just like captain America better
I have something to confess... I like Edward Norton as Bruce Banner and the design of his Hulk more than Mark Ruffalo.
I agree. I also appreciate Eric bana in the role.
I put the head from the target movie hulk from like 2008 or 2009 and put it on the smart hulk body and it comes close to being accurate
I agree with u brotha man
I feel like ever since infinity war this has become a popular opinion
I agree
You should’ve at least put up pictures of the hulk figures. They’re pretty good.
Hey just wanted to let you know that I love this series so keep going
I appreciate the feedback - look for Phase Two in a couple of weeks!

I still have a lot of my phase one figures man this video is bringing back some great memories
25:55 I have that hulk, I got it for 10 dollars, for some reason I assumed it’s a high quality knockoff lol, kinda disappointed to know it’s lisenced
That is pretty funny, actually

Another great video!! Ty
I wish they would make super articulated 3.75 inch marvel figures again
You are not alone…
Hey CS 👋, nice rundown of all the versions of MCU Avengers figures.
Thanks, friend!
I hope they'd
Make MCU
Whiplash
Taserface
Ego
Stakar (Stallone figure)
Malekith and kurse
Meek from Thor Ragnarok
Astronaut Stan lee
MCU gotg Watchers
Edward Norton Hulk
Ànd yes The No way home wave 2
Well it's Hasbro we can all wait but they'd be fun to have
I too hope for a Whiplash but given how tight Mickey Rourke is about his likeness being used, I don't think we'll ever get an MCU version.
Great point
That is a great list - and, I bet a few of those eventually make their way into our collections!
They did make an Ego - think it was maybe in a 2-pack with Peter Quill?
@@titanguy7316 what I meant is the planet ego bro but that two pack is solid!
In the bro Thor baf they rereleased the Avengers 1 cap, it looks pretty good but it has ball hips.
That one is coming up - it was from the scene where the two caps fought
I always preferred the 3 3/4 inch figures but they do such good work on the 7 inch figures, I always end up with several.
And the quality gets better and better with each new wave
Though the figures of iron man are great I would of loved to see the mountain stick with the original iron man costume but in red and yellow
I do love me some red and yellow!

I think The Incredible Hulk is the best MCU film. I think Ed Norton is the best Bruce Banner and his Hulk design is the best.
Bold opinions! I love it!
Those hulk movie figures were fantastic, they were alittle short compared to legends but really, they gave us some fantastic comic characters.
4:00 not sure if you know this but it was actually sculpted by toybiz! as many other figures like the ghost rider movie figures!
Proof?

Minimates for the win!
yea sure for 4yr olds
