Nice review, thanks! Have really been impressed with the full length Avenger, but hated how LONG it is with a DonyL on the end. Was just too long to get through the woods handily. So when they mentioned a bullpup version I signed up asap. I've never liked the look of a bullpup but this one is winning me over. Just like its longer brother, it's a great shooter! Have had it about a month now, and it's earning its keep. Mine came with a 3-baffle moderator built in, attached as a part of the barrel cap, and it's quiet enough that I retired the Sumo for now. Super short and still pretty quiet, and I'm loving that. Really handy. I knurl the fill caps to get a better grip on that smooth surface, and that's been a handy little mod. Anyway, thanks again, nice job!
Yep, it's been one of those little improvements that's really helped on both of my Avengers. Takes about 5 minutes on the lathe, and it's super easy to spin them now, even with gloves on. And it looks cool. I leave the knurled portion unpainted bright aluminum. Maybe I should market them! haha Not sure how to send you a photo of one, but I can get one to you somehow if you like. Anyway, thanks for all you do, I appreciate your videos!
I've found that my original Air Venturi Avenger is too long (especially with the DonnyFL Tanto) and too heavy to shoulder and shoot. On a table and with the use of a tripod, it's great (extremely accurate and nice trigger), so I appreciate your review of it's little cousin. Happy New Year!

At this price it's as good as bought. I love my Avenger 177cal. Iam sure I'll love this one also. Thanks brother. Since I already have 20,000 + 177cal pellets and slugs. I guess I'll stick with the 177cal.

Nice review. Great job pointing out the upgrades and features in a practical sense as well as impressions on the long pull trigger. The improvements made are the reasons I offloaded my Avenger. It wouldn't hold my ATN 4K Pro well at all. Still, I am holding out for a Maverick or Wildcat.
Just bought this gun to challenge my Nova Vista Liberty .22 which is an absolute tack driver, but the Liberty is a whole lot longer, and heavier with the wood stock. I love my 2 week old Avenger long .25 with the Donny FL adapter and Tanto suppressor. I tried to use my 3D internal baffle system, machined adapter, and after market suppressor that I had in my first gen Avenger that was a year and a half old, but it oddly didn't work so thank goodness for Donny FL. The gun shoots great, and the shorter length makes it a cheaper truck gun than my SK-19 .25 cal, but not nearly as much $$$$ lost if someone were to smash my truck window out, and steal it either also it is just as accurate out to 75 yards or so. I really think Nova Vista is so under rated because of being a Chinese company out of Macau, and not a company with a big name/reputation/advertisements/prestige like boutique brands. I have 3 Liberty's, and the only thing I like about them over the Avenger is that the block is 1 solid piece of material. The Avenger is not, and appears to be a cast component block with a covering? Haven't taken it apart, and only know this from video's..i.e... A.V.S Sport. They are not the same as the 1st gen Liberty. I do wish they would have kept the 1 piece block. That is my only thing is wish they would have keep. Other than my personal preference on the block...this is a heck of a good gun that will hit the 10 ring with authority for a very fair price. Air Venturi was very wise pairing with Nova Vista, and did we shooters a great favor by doing so. Thanks for the video bud. God bless.
I have this gun and I'm a lefty. There is no problem shooting it left-handed. I had to use tall scope rings but that's no big deal. Side lever is no problem. I have the .25 cal and I think it is a lot quieter than my long Avenger in .25. This rifle loves JSB 25.39's, H&N Crow Magnum and Barracuda Extreme pellets. Tested yesterday, at full air tank fill 48 shots before it gets down to regulator pressure (2800psi). All settings as it came out of the box.

Nice review of the avenger bull pup. I wonder how well it works for a southpaw? I like the looks and the advantages of bull pups in general. Never went the bull pup route, due to that most seem to be uncomfortable for lefty shooters.
I think it can be used lefty. You'll be breaking your cheek weld to cock it, but at least you wont be eating the magazine or lever. There are other bullpups that are more left friendly, the Walther Reign comes to mind.

Both came from Pyramyd Air. I'm hearing good things about the new AirMarksman brought in by Utah Airguns, and they have stood by everything I've gotten from them. This is my advice. You want a domestic retailer who will remedy any problem you might have with the unit that is shipped to you. Pay attention to the warranty period. Ask if they will service a unit that is out of warranty. Understand that if it's 90 days and they do not service it, you are on your own. Nice video and review I have been looking into getting a bullpup air rifle the two that's on tested ground for me is this avenger or the hatsan flashpup which do you recommend for small to medium game
I've heard good things about the Hatsan, but the Avenger will give you a few more options in tuning if that appeals to you. If you are thinking medium I'd go with a .25.
I think the magazine is OK, but the lever might be bothersome. You'll have to pull it away from your face to cock, but I find I do that anyway as a righty...so not much difference there. I'd try to get one in hand to assess where your face sits before I'd make a decision.
I appreciate your help, I'm new to airguns. I am in the process of buying the Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup. Based on your experience, which caliber do you recommend .22 or .25?
I like the .22. You have a few more ammo choices and you get 500 in a tin vs 350. If most of what I planned to shoot was over 50 yards and bigger than a squirrel or rabbit (skunks or raccoons) I'd go with .25.
Why did you shoot a group with your FX and then shoot a group with the avenger and no wind of course and with a scope Cam so we can make sure that you’re doing your job right. I think you’re gonna find out the avenger she’s a better group than an impact
Probably the most common question I've been asked. I may have to find a lefty airgunner and do a video on that. The short answer is it might be OK. The cocking lever is going to be against your fave. Whether or not that is a problem is individual preference. The magazine will not be an issue. The cocking mechanism, because it's at the rear will require you to pull the gun away from your face for cocking, but righty's will be doing the same thing, so I don't see that as a deal breaker.

Why don’t you do 100 yard video with a scope cam between the avenger and an FX in the wind of course. But it’s got to be with a scope cam so we could see exactly what you’re doing. Hey I’m also doing a show on saber tactical why if everything is made in China why is everything so expensive.
And another funny thing is most of you FX guys put down Chinese guns you call them entry-level which I have proven or not. But you’ll saw that saber tech junk that’s made in China and Donnie FL which his prices should be cut in half and everything he sells because his stuff is made in China. Some of his suppressors cost more than a whole air gun you could buy a Beeman QB chief which by the way out shoots and affects and packed with pallets for under $200 in a lot of Donny FL suppressors are close to over $200. Even his little cheaper for $99 that should be 40 bucks. What is it going to say the shipping to US is a lot they ship a whole Airgun to the US and they sell it for under $200 A whole gun this is just another case of greed I think overtime these videos I’m doing will gain a lot of momentum they already are. More than 20,000 people have seen my video on FX liners and have checked their liners. Saw how many deviations there are in them. And have contacted fx
Watching you pull trigger instead of impact of shot is boring and just wrong. Sorry but honesty is the best policy. Plus to much talk and not enough action!
Unfortunately the day I had free to film was not a day I was willing to put a camera outside in the weather. Hopefully I'll have something to review that is more to your liking when the weather is more agreeable.

@@joseseijo7643 Glad to help.
300 bar (3451 psi)
Any other Bullpups you'd recommend as much as this sub $500?
You've got options from Hatsan and Kral, but I don't have hands on time with those, so I'd be hesitant to recommend something I haven't shot.
@@WiscAirGunners fair enough. Are they regulated?
@@BJJandBS I don't think either of their sub-500$ bullpups are regulated.
Why don’t you do 100 yard video with a scope cam between the avenger and an FX in the wind of course. But it’s got to be with a scope cam so we could see exactly what you’re doing. Hey I’m also doing a show on saber tactical why if everything is made in China why is everything so expensive.
i been wondering if yhis air gun can kill big animal such as wild boar.not a singgle riview about big game on youtube
I would say no. A .25 cal might handle a small pig but there are other airguns at energy levels for animals like a boar.
👍🤗
Thanks!
You gonna eat what you kill right??? #hunterscode
I think you've been bought out.
take a job
Ok?
Show The Target 🎯 your not as fun to watch 😉
Next one has two cameras rolling. Hopefully that will help out.
Watching you pull trigger instead of impact of shot is boring and just wrong. Sorry but honesty is the best policy. Plus to much talk and not enough action!
I'd say you're in the minority, but I appreciate your viewpoint.
Unfortunately the day I had free to film was not a day I was willing to put a camera outside in the weather. Hopefully I'll have something to review that is more to your liking when the weather is more agreeable.
It's been at least 365 days, have you found a UA-cam channel that you enjoy?
