    One of the problems with this area is that it's a famous partying area. Not very quiet when big groups make their way in (like over 4th of July).

    Very nice, open area with fantastic view's! I would love to "picnic" and do some fishing there. I cant get over, the amount of wood debris, thats just, laying along the shoreline. What a beautiful day you all had too! Do you ever just want to...drop a line, and do a little fishing ? If you do....video it !! lol vicky

    Lou...I've fished Riffe several times....looks like the water level is much lower than normal. The area has received a TON of rain in the last 4-6 weeks so lake level should be up. It surely is a beautiful area. As always ...thank you for the video and I hope you and Melody enjoyed your time in my home state of Washington.

      Repairing the dam, has been and will stay low for a few years

      The water is 37 vertical feet lower now than it was in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000's up until a bogus inspection of the dams spillways was performed and stated that catastrophic failure "could" occur to just the overflow spillways in the even of a 8.0 earthquake. If the dam was at full height capacity and letting spring flows just flow through the spillways as they had been doing for 50 plus years. The entire story line is a sham and the perfect excuse to cut recreational use down to save cost for Tacoma Power. I grew up camping and boating here for 35 years, I stopped going when the lake was gradually being drawn down for no reason except for a bogus pre determined outcome inspection of the spillways. What a shame and a shame.

    I could go on for pages of text about Riffle I am 42 years old now and spent my entire infancy, youth and adult hood into mid 30s camping and boating on Rife, lowering the water level is a joke and the state knows it so does TPUD. That wildlife area used to be covered most of the year in 10 ft or so of water and in the winter was the perfect mud bog for 100s of jeep wheeler s and off road lovers.

    Hey, love your videos. I am wondering if it would be possible to add the a general location of the video location in addition to coordinates, much appreciated, from our campfire to yours, thanks

    • @LivingOurDreamNow
      @LivingOurDreamNow  2 роки тому +2

      Grid coordinates are included within the written video description on UA-cam. It is easier for my viewers to copy and paste the grid coordinates from there as opposed to viewing them on the video. General location within the context of the video is most certainly doable. Thanks for watching! Lou
