i'm indian and i went to an all girls catholic/convent school, so I never found any "shows centred in a school" personally relatable. this one immediately hit it out of the park! whether its the friendship between the girls, the lone suffering guy (a soldier, truly), the relationship dynamics between the adults or their naivety......its really a treat to witness these people within a politically disruptive background. and the occasional scoffing at britons doesn't hurt😂. overall a brilliant show! thank you so much for your reactions!

i watched this episode for the first time last year a couple of days after voting for a presidential election in my country for the first time (i was 17, in my country you can start voting at 16) and it hit me so much 😭 i'm from nowhere near ireland and wasn't alive during the troubles or the 90's but it felt super relatable. i think this is a perfect finale

A good finale. Wrapped everything up. Good Friday Agreement was a huge part of Irelands history. They showed it well. Michelle’s brother an IRA volunteer in prison after murdering would walk free under the agreement so people were conflicted voting yes.
Yeah must’ve been a very tough time especially for people in Michelle’s position! I loved the show a lot! Thought it was brilliant! Deffo one I’ll rewatch multiple times 🥰
