Wow. I joined in 2019 (about to turn 14 then), and with how many new people joined in 2020 and 2021 from COVID, I thought it made me an "oldie." This is a whole new level. Congrats dude.
Heard of iRacing on day one, but didn’t have the ability as a broke kid ha. Tried it on barracks WiFi and $200 laptop years later, bad idea. Finally built a pc the second I got out of the military and got iRacing shortly after. Truly is everything that I always wanted in a racing game.

iRacing is so old that Indycar was just reuniting
July 9TH 2008 was my start day with iRacing. I don't know if that was the first wave or not. I do remember some beta races I was in with real NASCAR drivers testing the terrible tires!
Funny to see how things have simultaneously changed so much and stayed nearly the same the past >16 years. UI has shifted around, graphics have improved a bunch but it's more or less the same foundation, and to an extent still reminiscent of the Papyrus games long past.
Been around since late 2009. Joined up having never raced online before and it was a wake up call! Haha. Kept at it and got a bit better. Happy to still be running and can’t wait to see what comes next!

December will be 16 years for me too!
Coming up to 6 years myself and it's made massive strides in my time but it's incredible how far it's come over it's lifetime. Really enjoy these nostalgia videos, but that's because I'm old for a Sim racer

Man iracing has came a long way in some places and still the same in some. I did one month 2015 when I still went to school but could not afford it. but joined back 2020 when I got a new PC.
