Thats why there is this thing called "third car rule" which basically means that every third car in a train has no line, ur not trying to mimic the second car that much, ur still keeping the close distance but at the same time ur kinda doing ur own thing, so that the fourth car can chase u good, and then it starts all over again. Its a interesting thing i must say, but it makes a lot of sense.

I struggled with being the 3rd car in tandems when I got into AC and when I learned that, I felt like I hacked the game somehow. My consistency and confidence shot up after learning that and now I actually like being in the most cramped part of trains rather then up front.
wow, adore your throttle input....so smoooth. I'm trying now to switch my skill from tando budies to WDT or Gravy, but experianced very weird stuff. I feel like those cars (more gripped up) need a lot more steering input to drive when I want to and with every bad input they send me outside of the track...any advices? Or just a seat time? :D Cause that for sure is a 'driver issue' ;)
Thanks man, and yeah try 70ffb to start, then focus on the throttle input and throttle timing. Lift off throttle slightly just before transition (straightens the car), then power on and hold mid transition to get angle and start the drift again. I guess basic tip is focus on throttle more than steering, the wheel will do its thing. Also the gear ratio nismo 4.1.1 for wdts cars is great for most tracks, keep practicing 💪
Anything over 500hp is just nuts and spins out I can’t give myself 5 minutes to learn any other cars Expect the tando buddies cuz it’s the easiest. Idk how tf u guys handle the 1000 hp drift cars without spinning them out 😂
For me, when I was transitioning from tando budies to WDTS I was having the same problem of the cars feeling uncontrollable/unpredictable. The thing that helped me was looking further ahead of where I'm supposed to be. Instead of looking where you are right now or where you will be 1 second from now, look where you want to be in 2-3 seconds from now and then you'll be able to do the fine adjustments to get yourself where you want to be easier. It will also make it feel more predictable

If you keep losing speed its probably better to shift down a gear if that doesnt work then you most likely have abs on and traction control causing the car to not drift properly.
@john Johnson that’s normally better for grip racing since you’re constantly smashing on the brakes but for drifting not really because almost all of the time when you’re using brakes you’re lightly on them like torretto does in this vid

I can’t even use my shitty Logitech brake pedals those things are useless. You can’t ever apply full brake on them and if you try the damn thing just slides 😂

i was in your position last week for the gravy garage turn the ffb down on them on the right handside (force feedback controller )

Look where you want to go, I'm usually focused far ahead of where im actually at even in tandem just keep your awareness around you too

Turn down brake pressure and it becomes more forgiving. Then ease it up to normal settings. Worked for me
