First of all, thankyou so much for your valuable video...very easy to understand...I really wish to see the upcoming video on AIF vs MF vs PMS.. pls release it soon sir...
Sir PMS may generate higher return but imposes multiple charges from investors due to which an investor may receive very less return in hand as compare to MF. For example, If PMS and MF both generates 24% yearly return, then PMS investors may receive less than 18% in hand due to multiple PMS fee. Let's suppose any good mutual fund gives 24% return and PMS generates 30% but after reducing all PMS charges, say 30% of profit and other fee, investors will get (70% of 30% profit) i.e. 21%. Sir, to understand long term impact, plz make a dedicated video comparing long term return say 20 years, of what an investor will get in hand after reducing all charge while investing in PMS and MF. 🙏
Very useful information..I was in dilemma for PMS vs MF... thank you very much for presenting pros n cons of PMS.. Please also present the comparison between PMS vs MF vs Small case..thanks
Ye dekhke dimag hil gaya ... Concentrate hoke bhi kya fayda jab long term me return hi na de... Good information sir Comparison video plz banaye... Motivation milega mf ke liye
Nice Video. One point that will be helpful to understand in MF vs PMS is downside protection. If you can share some stats on this it will be helpful. Most of the investors in PMS might have opted it for capital protection rather than higher returns, so any numbers around that will be good to see. Thanks for all the informative unbiased videos :)
Your can even customize your mutual fund with different fund fund to suit your need and also mutual fund might have more pressure to do well than pms as they have to compet other amu
I was about to invest in PMS but after evaluating PMS vs MF, I actually don’t see any reason to invest in a PMS especially if they haven’t really created alpha against benchmark index. People just do it perhaps because they are bored but any sane person will really stick to MFs for long run
Good information..however, how is it that PMS is giving higher rates of return, when they invest in the same equity/debt markets as MF..i always fear, that when something is good, it's too good to be true
Sir one question how does a portfolio manager distribute stocks in pms , example some client has given 1 crore another client 2 crore how does one buy stocks and distribute it among clients
I have been advised to create a PMS with HDFC, the bank provides this as an additional service at no cost(through my personal banker) and has a dedicated team to cater to a niche customer base. Please advise if I can go ahead? and would this be better than investing in multiple mutual funds? Do note: The bank isn't charging for this service
Sir, At 4 mins 10 seconds, you say , humko 50lac maintain krna hain....,, Is it complesory? bcz As per my knowledge aesa jaruri nahi hain. Kindly clearify.
So if i understand you correctly, PMS has higher corpus requirement, higher cost, higher concentration and lower returns (similar returns in smallcap). Why then would one want to invest in PMS??
Nice video. However, investors need not top-up if the portfolio degrows to less than 50 lacs via stock price correction. Withdrawals can't be made to make the portfolio value below 50 lacs though.
Nice explanation 😮. PMS are not beating some MF returns. I feel PMS are useful to only fund managers who can charge hefty fee like 2.5% + profit sharing 😮.
Great information as always. Thank you 🙏

SEBI does not allow less than 50L in a pms. They already run advisory portfolios for a fee

@@nirat1409 it means that to enroll in a PMS one needs to have 50 lakhs as a minimum requirement,so one cannot start PMS with 10lakhs
