My dad has been playing piano since he was 8 and I have learned some songs but I wanted to surprise him for his birthday since he loves this song but hasn’t learned it yet. I finally managed to do the part 1 to 6 with both hand and it took me two full days but when you get it it fells really good .You should probably start very slowly like put the speed .25 and then speed it up if you fell comfortable
Update: I played it perfectly with both hands in a month.

I remember learning that song from you years ago but with different notes above the keyboard. I miss that way of writing music :( I remember you had some problem on youtube because of it - still it was the best way to learn songs and go back to them months later. Will you ever go back to writing music like that for the year subscribers? Yiruma's music is wonderful. Thank you for making this video.
Thanks, no I'm not gonna go back to the old system, about 90% of my subscribers told me they like the new system better, and I get what you mean, but the trick is to learn these chords, that way you don't have to go back through slides anymore, simply by taking a glance at the chords, and playing 1 minute, everything will start to come back ;) this way you learn even quicker, after you're used to it. I can now play nearly any song in a couple of minutes by this system :)

River flows in you is about 4-5 on henle soo you'll have struggles if you're an absolute beginner
This was one of the first songs I learned to play on piano, yeah it's a bit difficult but you can do it and it gets much easier.
Even tho it has been 4 years since this was uploaded, this is the most helpful video among all the others
