Your ability to break down these instructions into easily digestible material is second to none. Can’t thank you enough for your service and for your training videos!
Again it was very easy to understand how to approach trigger manipulation exampling a car, a child or a handshake. It was brilliant! I am needed to take special trainings and learn from you one day! Thank you again for this training video sir.
I just found your channel a couple of days ago. I have practiced some of the concepts dry firing in the house and I can already see improvement. Great way to breakdown the basics in a way that makes sense!! THANKS!!!
Thank you so much for all that you do!! Don't let the evil in the world get you down Brother! God loves you and he is working in you and he is using you to help people come to him and be better people. Keep up the good work.
There are SO MANY opinions on where to put your finger on the trigger, it's crazy. I just watched a different person in Special forces (a trainer now and a damn good shot) and he said bury the finger and lay the trigger in the bend of the first knuckle, just past the pad. Bottom line I guess is ...do what works for you.
Yes I go over that in my classes. Outside of safety I focus on efficiency, so even though you can shoot with other pads, it is best to use the first one for overall performance. Have a great day and God bless
Everything about this fella just screams professional, the majority of Seals past and present really behaviour in a way that makes people want to join the teams, Jason your a credit to your community! I wonder while you were in the teams did you ever come across someone called Mark Thompson? (My uncle) I think he might have been in maybe before you but just curious my guy! All the best from a brother across the water x
Hi I am watching all your nice videos from the 1st ,excellent thanks👍 Could you explain in a video how to practice double tap please ? Greetings from France 🇨🇵 ⚓️🇨🇵🗡🏹
Great Video! Really like to 0-100 concept vs. "The Wall" and having a 15 month old can connect trigger finger to applying pressure and rolling into it when picking her up. No whiplash! haha
I always like viewing many different shooter's technique of trigger control. Mostly I was taught the same basic techniques. But, there is always a but, after watching Pat Mac on Pistol Fundamentals which his technique on finger placement etc. is very different and I assume since he is such a proficient shooter that he doesn't have to worry about the basic techniques. What say you?
I don’t watch any videos honestly so I don’t know what you mean exactly. The only thing that matters is the sights are on and not moving as the trigger breaks over. You can pull a trigger a few different ways and still be successful. What it comes down to is how efficient can you be? Be blessed.
I was really glued to this video, as you are a leftie like me. So I was really curious if you anything different. The few training classes i have had, no one instructed from a left dominate position. Also, if i may ask. How was training in the military being left handed? Did they make any concessions for it? Also, how's your hearing? I didn't see any ear pro. I was in a shootout in a mobile home in the 90's (I was a cop) and lost about 60% of my hearing in my right ear. Tinnitus is bad.
Mirroring is hard when you are trying to learn at a fast pace but I'm glad you enjoyed it. The military didn't care if you were left or right handed you were given a right handed gun and you learned to use it. I am running Safariland plugs in these videos.
I assume you are joking or young lol. A clutch is the peddle that is used in a vehicle with a manual transmission to help you change gears. Have a great day and God bless
Is it only preference between trigger recent and flip and press? Because people like John Lovell and Tim Kennedy teach flip and press I believe. Thank you
@@frogmantactical I’m referring resetting the trigger by to just letting the trigger out enough to hear or feel the “click” vs going out all the way out to the slack and then pulling back 0%.
@@markbrian4890 Is say just preference. I use these terms. Slack out, Trigger pull, Trigger Reset. Sometimes I have to use different words to get the students to understand so there is a baseline I use and adapt as long as the words make sense. Sometime you hear people make things up that has no alignment definition wise to what they are teaching which is bad teaching IMO.
World Champion Rob Leatham went over this in a similar manner in this video; ua-cam.com/video/li0rGtXh23I/v-deo.html Your take on trigger control with this video has added to my philosophy on proper trigger control. Thanks for doing this. It would be interesting to see you collaborate with Rob Leatham on a combined video between you two; a competition shooter and a combat shooter and finding a happy medium for the individual shooter. Both of your philosophies work and make sense to me. Stay safe & healthy.
@@frogmantactical were you taught that during seal training? Or is it something you developed later on? It’s a bad technique that most military and law enforcement teach.

Excellent. Thank you.
Great breakdown! My dad is a USMC Veteran. He taught my brother and I about trigger "squeeze" early on. Good stuff.

There are quite a few handgun videos here in the Handgun playlist.
@@frogmantactical i will look em up. If you want a free pair of slick feeling 1911 grips just ask. And say what color ya want em cast in.

Hey Jason, I’m trying to do the countdown, for some reason I can’t get over the anticipation. My shots keep ending up at 7 o’clock!
Damn, you wouldn't happen to be an ex-SEAL would ya? (-; Nice shooting.

How it can be slowly squeezed in situation of rapid fire?
That’s just to teach you how to….. squeezing is the key. Once you get that down then you learn to go faster without slamming the trigger down.
Would like link to classes
👍
what kind of ear pro do you use?
Did you stipple that yourself ?
Yes.
Looks good man
No earplugs?
Yes, these are the Safariland in ear plugs.

Pinning your trigger is a waste of time. No reason to do it. Immediate reset is the way.

This is outdated material.
