You take the time to reflect on what you've done over the past several years and the people you hold dear: we should all take a lesson from you and do exactly the same. We have to express gratitude to the experiences and the people that have led us to where we are today and use that as a strength to prepare us for the upcoming, very uncertain, future. How to best protect our beautiful planet you ask? You showcase our pristine planet in ways that capture the eye and get us hooked. You show how beautiful our collective home is. So so much of that landscape that you capture is changing before our eyes due to our collective, mostly harmful, actions. There are so many ways to protect our planet and make sure that this beauty that you capture in the most gorgeous way possible (it's pure eye-candy, no way around it) is still there for our future children and their children to behold. From raising awareness of the consequences of individual action to holding those in charge accountable for greenlighting harmful activities, there is much to be done. What counts is raising awareness of these challenges in the way we know how to and feel comfortable doing so. No one is perfect, and it's a learning curve. Just like a skill, it takes time, many trials, and a large number of errors to get on the right track to have an environmentally-friendly lifestyle. Most importantly, it's about showing the change that we as individuals can do. I'm a graduate in Sustainability Science and I've studied both the collective and individual actions that can be taken to improve lifestyles to make them more environmentally friendly, and the tools that we have at our disposal to raise awareness of such changes and the immense benefits they have. I'd love to have a chat with you about this if you're interested. I too, want to protect our beautiful home.
