I've actually hiked this exact section of trail you did on this, but as a day hiker. My wife and I were visiting the Smokies for our honeymoon. We turned around at a viewpoint called The Jumpoff. It was nice to see that trail again, nice memories of happy times.
Welcome back to the smokey mountains where it is more out then clear skies in the late fall. Rocky top you will always be home sweet home to this tennessee guy.
I've been watching your entire thru hike, but I'm bad about leaving comments, lol! You've been so inspiring with your perseverance and how you've enjoyed the trail all along the way (not just racing through). And you've taken some of the best footage I've seen...especially in NH and Maine! I'm section hiking and I feel like I have a better idea of what those two (scary) states will look like, so thank you!! :D I live close to the Smokies and hike there all the time (I've actually hiked all of the trails in the park :) ) THIS section (from Charlie's Bunion to Pecks) is one of my favorite "trails" in the entire park. Views for DAYS! Like...on both sides. It's breathtaking. I hope you're able to go back on a clear day and see it!
Gatlinburg looks just like it did when.I was there 2 years ago. That place never dies down
I love that ridge walk, especially in clouds.
Your videos make my day, keep em coming.
This is a great video I like the country folk music and the white cheddar Cheez-Its are the best by the way
So happy to see another video! Missed your voice lol. Sidenote, I ordered an Appalachian gear co. hoodie! Just got it today and its all because of YOU!! Thanks!👍
Oh, lol, Gatlinburg is always like that.
Thanks for posting. Hope you are doing well. Be safe and stay warm.
most visited NP = a lot of people. my favorite place to visit even with the crowds
Awesome video! Wish we were there now!! Love the song too ❤️
My wife and I were there in Gatlinburg in October. It was always crowded.
Nice edit and hiking trails that coffee looks really good right now 🤙
The little bird is a Tufted Titmouse. They have these large black eyes that remind me of doe eyes!
Go Kelly go. Nice video Kelly, and just wondering when the tems get -0* do you still wear shorts?
Did y'all know that most the fog in the smokies comes from vapors released from the area's vegetation, sorry I like to nerd out sometimes. God bless y'all.
Nice video, with some good views so let's keep on hiking, some fall colors
I have the exact same kettle ✌️You made coffee with ☕️
Many say they'll do skipped sections later. You actually follow through. Good for you!
Is it still actually a thru hike though if you don’t complete it from start to finish?
A good way to start the new year. Thanks for sharing 🙂👍💥
That cute little bird is a tufted titmouse. They are adorable. They actually eat my dog's foods out of the bowl on the back porch. Glad to see you are back to finish that last little bit.
Love the Bluegrass music "9 Lives"
Fall is considered the "peak season" in the Smokies. Our trips in the fall have all been busier than summer or spring.
Loved the music at 3:25
Hey Kelly! You make it look so easy! That was quite hike thru all the fog. Just a shout out from a loyal fan in Your home town of Little Rock! Go Hogs and go Kelly!! I've followed u since day 1!! Great job! Almost there!👍
Gatlinburg is a vacation hotspot. It is busy all of the time.
God, that trail thru the Smokies looks so easy now.
I enjoyed your video thanks for sharing.🏔⛺️🥾💕
2:49 - Yup, that's Gatlinburg on a Tuesday in the Fall, LOL... Record breaking attendance last year.
That area is nice hiking. From fontana to standing Indian is kinda ruff
Fun fun. It is complicated.
Welcome to the Smokies. You could see why it's called that. But walking in the clouds is so cool. Hate you missed the view at Charlies Bunion, one of the best in the park IMO.
Uploaded in January but the trees say it is end of fall. And welcome to Gatlinburg in the fall - ALWAYS crowded
Such a shame it was foggy, that view at bunions or whatever it is called is one if the best on the whole trail.
Oops, Newfound Gap to Peck's Corner. I enjoyed that area of the trail. Guess it was too cloudy to get a view from Charlies Bunion.
You Go Girl 👍🏻
Wow, now I see why they call it the " Smokies ". Good to see you back on trail and it's nice going back to starting my day off with one of your videos. Look forward to the rest of the journey. Have fun!!
Well done! Happy to see you healthy and hiking!
Standing Bear is awesome.. I volunteered there as a work to stay
enjoyed you video!
I love the Smokies! We just sold our cabin in Pigeon Forge and I miss it! Those views are just the best! Have big fun!
Hey Kelly! 11 miles and a 3pm start? Why not 😂 It must have been so surreal standing at that sign for Katadin having just been on top of it. It was nice seeing the smokies at this time of year, the trail looked awesome (even with the white out!) 🙏 Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well.
-Grateful
A whole different vibe, isn't it? Van life w/Coleman stove, no one's worn down anymore, and maybe even being "freed" of Katahdin. It had to weird though seeing that sign, was it a dream? was I really there?
Hey 9-Lives and Sunshine! Nice watching another video of you hiking and enjoying yourselves. Thanks for having me along. Question for Kelly. Seeing you are a RD, how come if I even see food I gain weight? When I watch you, and others hiking those (s)miles I don't lose an ounce with all that exercising I watch?
What video camera did you use?
Tell them yes you work UA-cam is part of your job
Can you see the Sunsphere from there?😁
Kelly how are you feeling
It seems I saw you finish this trail through someone else’s video which was very blurry.
I wish that you could hike Mount Le Conte since you’re in the Smokies. It’s not on the AT but it’s such a beautiful hike.
As a poor soul living in this area Gatlinburg is always crowded. I’ve eaten at the Cobbly Knob restaurant several times, not bad. Glad to see ya back on the trail.
Sooooo, you girls are goin SNORTH…simply enough 😂🤙
you're still on trail?
No, she's not, probably in Virginia now, like, you know a job.
@@TheJhtlag yeah I hiked with her, I know she still had sections to make up from her time off trail after she summited.
@@thetrailawaits498 Her vlog "The Final 200 Miles etc." explains everything
I'm not a fine people and I'm not of youtube
I guess I'll be the only one who says wow this girl is attractive
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022
