I watched a clip of the South Park creators giving a lesson on storytelling. They said when telling people a story, it’s better to transition each section with “therefor, but, however, because” instead of “and then”, because people want to follow the narrative, rather than be blasted with logistics. Hearing this made my brain click as to why I noticed that people would tune out when I talk, and therefor I would feel bad about myself and be hesitant to keep sharing. But with this in mind, I have practiced and gotten a lot better!

I was in need of serious inspiration on a chilly, rainy September morning. Tired, getting over a cold, I didn't know where to begin. It seemed like it was going to be a lost morning. Then I found this 13 minutes of pure gold and I'm going to use it to transform my day and ignite creative solutions for my clients. Thanks Chris.

Just discovered Chris & his work. Divine timing, I believe. ✨ I taught high school culinary arts for a decade and personal branding was a component of the class. I first started thinking about pb after Kayne’s College Dropout album & hearing him say he wanted to tell his stories auto biographically through his music. That was so profound to me. Given the amount of time I’ve spent with this subject, I actually felt a little lost when it came time to (re)brand for myself. Your prompts/exercises are helping me clarify, and I am super thankful. 💛✨ Cảm ơn nhiều, Chris Do! PS: anything related to Star Wars ✨⚡️⚡️⚡️ I’ve had the honor of cooking for George Lucas. What an incredible mind. 🥰✨

Stories are the building blocks of the human psyche. The more you learn about yourself, the better stories you can tell - "Know Thyself" was a Delphic Maxim for a reason. Connect moments to emotion to improve your memory and marketing capability.

This is dope👍🏽❤️ It actually reminds me of one of the best acting classes I ever took. My booking career actually took off once I learned to use memory to tap into emotion and use DESIRE to craft a character. Everyone in a scene desires SOMETHING. When you decide what the character wants the scene takes off. When you don't the acting is flat and cringy😂 Great video thank you!

I’ve been reflecting on insights from Seth Godin’s This Is Marketing (my version of “reading” often involves listening!). It strikes me how both creatives and health professionals-true specialists in their fields-are often drawn to their work out of a deep sense of purpose and service to their communities. Yet, these are the very professionals who are frequently undervalued and underpaid, placing them at high risk of burnout.
I’d love to hear perspectives from anyone-whether you’re in the creative, health, or business world-on how we can collectively challenge these narratives and create more sustainable paths to career journeys of their choice?
