- The 9 days out of state trapping was with my friend and trapping partner Will Stoup. 180 were taken in 9 days.
The 2 weeks in OH was on my private line running solo. 130+ coyotes were trapped then.
Hard work, determination, and a plan went into these traplines.

The subtle background music is a nice touch. Hate when people blast music over hunting, trapping or outdoor videos. Nice job man!
I see both sides of this. I was editing it with headphones on so it sounds a lot louder with my earbuds in, but this is just the intro video to something bigger.
Thanks a lot of checking it out.
I like the video with the background sound… nice touch. As for the coyotes, great job, that is a ton of work. You’re definitely very organized and efficient to get ahold of that many in that short of time. Nothing but respect from me!
Appreciate the comments. Been watching your channel for years!
That’s awesome. I’m sure we will meet up at some point. Good luck to you, and again impressive work for sure!
@@jeromycooley-outwestadvent5790 likewise. Take care sir
I like your drone footage and good B roll. Quality stuff there. Keep up the good work, as usual 👏.
Thanks jinx!
What is your favorite trap, and offset or regular jaw.thanks for the suggestions
No bs jr wire lever offset with lamination. Comes 4 coiled
@@CoyoteAcademy best trap on the market.you using them only confirms it for me.I’ve water trapped for years it’s a natural fit for me.I just started using 6 dukes for coyotes it’s a learning process.set for 7days trying to get a cat that’s been eating on my wild rabbit.but I aint gonna quit.rest of my traps will be xtreme wire levers.most folks wouldn’t answer my questions.thank you so much for taking the time
We need sound
wow, this is impressive and some good size dogs ! Congrats ! I am in Western NY and we have big coyotes too.
Thanks Tim.
@CoyoteAcademy IF I may, what's your name ? Wondering if I know you from other sites.

Are the majority of these coyotes caught in feed lots ?
@@lakebottomkennels3912 what’s a feedlot?
@CoyoteAcademy a place that raises cattle for Slaughter typically they have a bunch of cows die during the raising process and they just drag them out back. Concentrating a large number of coyotes in one area
@@lakebottomkennels3912 I do most of my canine trapping around high activity locations. I do trap around livestock but I don’t have access to that many feedlots. Especially here in Ohio.
@CoyoteAcademy oh OK 👍 that's just alot of coyotes in one place when you had all the ones at the same time. I was just wondering why they had such large amounts of coyotes in one spot
@@lakebottomkennels3912 out west is a different story lol
How many dam coyotes are really out there nice work
They are running rampant. Thanks for the comment
Good video, but no sound
Sorry about that, but my video has sound
May have been my phone. Great job on your catches!!!!
Freaking awesome!
Thank you! Comment anything else you might like to see
No sound for me either.
The sound is background music. Not meant to be very loud
Loved the video. But needs volume. Steve the dale hollow trapper
I’ll work on it for the next updated video
Sound or not great video
Too bad the pelts aren't worth squat, relative to costs to run line. Of course most just see trapping as a outdoor pursuit like hunting. If it's not more profitable then other species , then coyotes can just stay out there making more . Been at this for over forty years now. Been watching your videos and always impressed with your skills . Keep on doing what you enjoy. More power to ya.
Thank you sir. It’s a true passion I have for this pursuit. Maybe one day it will pay off
That is absolutely insane...lol not sure if ill even hit 300 in my lifetime lol.
@@jasonnixon412 yeah you will!
