Speed skinning organizer here- thanks to all the competitors for stepping up. Besides Coyotes and Beaver skinning , we have youth and little trappers Muskrats. Come check these events out at the special 50th anniversary Rendezvous in Plamondon AB - July 2025 !
First. Thank you for coming threw on showing us the skinning competition it must be quit the thing to see in person. Looks to me like the head of the animal is the hardest part to skin. You really got to put your back into getting it off. What a great way to spend a day. Maybe when you start catching the hoots you can show us how it's done. Bring on the wolves winter trappings around the corner
Thanks for watching. The face just takes a little longer due to the ears, eyes and lips plus they have been frozen for at least 4 months. Won’t be long snow with fly and wolves will be caught. I was going to rhyme but …. Lol
Holy crap that’s my home town arena and I didn’t even know you guys were there!! I usually ride my horse in there but I definitely would’ve enjoyed watching this too!!!

My old man used to get one skinned in 3 minutes. Tied to the brush guard of an old Ford pickup. I was always so damn impressed! Rest in peace dad!
I feel that!
Not bad, coyotes are tough at times and some more than others. Good job and nice to see!
Impressive. Glad this is a sport

Ah man! Thanks for posting this. What a great event!
I had no idea such a competition existed and I don't know why youtube recommended it to me, I have 1 question, why do the front legs not get skinned?
The legs aren’t needed in the fur market.

I'm not even fast enough to get there😂😂 Takes me at least half an hour per dog.
Just takes a little practice.
hey Jason where u been bro...hit me up man
Anyone else looking at this. Like how I end up here 😂.
Comeback anytime
The winner was skinning a pup both times and the other boys had to skin a full size dog? Tf up with that?
Luck of the draw. They were all about the same.
Now for a wolf and grizzly skin off.
That would be a chore. Lol
@@NorthernTrapper but we need to get rid of a bunch of them!!
Did not know this was a thing. Looking at the lack of dislikes, it seems vegans don't either. :)
