I was crocheting teddybears as a gift for my whole family for christmas and i just couldn't connect the head to their bodies without it being all floppy. So I'll do these little scarfs for them so their heads hold better. Thank you so much!

You've totally brightened up my life over the past couple of months. I've gone from being unable to crochet to being pretty good now. I'm nearly finished my magical unicorn which I'm thrilled with (he is slightly tubby but totally gorgeous). You really make me laugh too. You're like a beautiful flower on a summers day. Hi! I was in the middle of this when I found a small knot in my yarn. I am soooo new to crochet. Any advice? Everything online that I find is pretty difficult.
Hi! If it's a knot in the yarn and not a knot that connects the yarn: then you need to give yourself a little slack on either side of the knot and gently, carefully, pull it apart. I can help to use a yarn needle to slip the tip under loops of the knot and carefully work it out.
These mini clothing items are adorable. I'm fascinated by how you hold your yarn in the left hand. Is that something you learned specifically or just how your fingers worked it out as you learned to crochet? Do you knit? If so, do you hold your yarn the same way? Oh yes! Jayda both crochet and knit 🧶 The way she holds her yarn is the way that’s natural for her to do. Everyone who knit or crochet will find their own way to hold the yarn. If you try to mimic how someone else does it, it may not work for you.

Also just a thought..... after passing one end through the key hole, we could add a loop to the center stitch on the top to hang the scarf as an ornament by itself. Would this work or would it be weird? Thanks again.
Hi Melissa, do you mean where you can hide things or where your children can't access your yarn? If you're kids are young, lock a room :) If they are older, you can lock a box - use a lock with a key or combination :)
