I would go down a hook size from whatever gauge yarn you choose, especially if you have loose tension. You don’t want the v stitch part of the body to be too holey.

Easily understandable tutorial. One suggestion however. When connecting to a small area (for example slip stitching), put the piece up closer to the camper so we can see exactly where to put the hook. Otherwise, very good.

I'm very confused starting the sleeves. Are we putting a dc on any of the dc from previous? It looked like the second dc you did was in the dc from previous v stitch
@@debpfleiger803 so once we attach the yarn in the chain 1 space, we then worh 3 chains(which we consider as 1st dc) then we work 1 dc in the same stitch at the bottom and the remaining stitches (the ones which we worked with green yarn) . We are working dc’s in all the stitches that we skipped in round 3
I know it’s a slow video because I have to cater to the beginners too. It gets really confusing if I go really fast that’s the only reason I had to make a slow tutorial.
She's also doing this for beginners. Be patient and appreciate she considers them as well. It was slow for me as well but I found her voice so soothing 😊

Absolutely, you can work this with any yarn and a smaller hook size. Thinner yarn and the smaller hook size will make it in small size

Tap the screen, tap the gear wheel, tap playback speed, you can easily alter the speed yourself.
I appreciate the slower speed. I had a stroke earlier this year and am starting to crochet again and I found this very helpful and soothing.
She's also doing this for beginners. Be patient and appreciate she considers them as well. It was slow for me as well but I found her voice so soothing 😊
You can also increase the speed of the video in the settings to 2 X or skip ahead.
