Portrait of a lady on Fire is a brilliant film. I remember watching it for the first time, I could literally feel something releasing inside my head which gave me pleasure maybe it's dopamine. It's so incredibly beautiful each frame is like a beautiful painting

"eight hours don't make a day" is phenomenal. i love that miniseries as i don't think it gets much love in comparson to fassbinder's other films/tv projects yet i was amazed at how accessible it was thematically.

Ah Bo Widerberg....Elvira Madigan is without doubt one of the greatest love stories ever made. I don't think I've ever really understood the term "actors having chemistry" until I've seen this. Obviously the story of the two appealed to Widerberg but God you just want to will them on regardless.
