It's been...maybe 2 years since I made this game, so I remembered a lot of the hidden tricks I put in the game (like Gravity on the Mega Chansey) as the video went on...
And the silver ranking after the emotional reunion was also (chef's kiss) unintentional comedy gold. (If I have one regret making this game, it was making the scoring too harsh, but it seemed like the chat was still having fun.)
Thank you for making such an amazing game for people to play and for everyone to enjoy! Was definitely a highlight of this year :)

Funny enough, even if you do that part perfectly, the tail still ends amputated. Amputation really was the solution there.

About the Zweilous... It was actually suffering from an iron deficiency, which just looks like hypothermia. So blankets and heat won't actually do anything.

So apparently Pointcrow is terrible at keeping animals healthy but really good at arguing with a doppelganger with his own life hanging in the balance.
And even then, in a situation where it is HIS life at sake not a another's. He continues to mess up to the point where if he had mess up one more time it would have been over!
I absolutely love how this game is based of The Thing, Ditto being the Thing, from the setting that they're in a facility in a remote place in the middle of the artic, the ditto makes a perfect copy of anyone and anything, and the infamous dog shelter scene when the thing takes the form of a dog just like Ditto with Arcanine

and then it had a danganronpa court scene, included the word sus, had to sniff out the impostor (used impostor too!). this game is several references but The Thing is definitley the main inspiration

i'm glad to see eric showing of these fantastic games that deserve more attention. This story was way better done than any main line pokemon game and I actually enjoyed the message great game would definitely play.
@@Ohokk0 I can kind of get why, since it can get a little moon-logic-y with the path to the perfect ranking with a few different hidden options and can be a bit janky with some of the doors, but considering the game is still noted as being in production on Relic Castle that can easily be forgiven. Still think the project is fantastic, and Im really looking forward to seeing what the final product will look like.

I watched 10 minutes of this game, left, played the game, and came back to watch the rest of this. Im glad pointcrow introduced me to this game, it was a blast

That was a hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride!

I’m watching this to relieve my distress after watching a horror game at 2 am but this is honestly exacerbating my distress
Love the scrubs 10/10. Def worth the 4 yrs of undergrad, 4 yrs of premed, 2 yrs, of residency, and a possible of 2yrs of specialization and to top it off, crippling debt :)
The Pikachu having a cold and emitting too much electricity as a result is exactly how Pikachu was sick in "Sparks Fly For Magnamite" in the show proper.
And this is why Eric doesn't work in the medical field

I was expecting this to be brutally precise like real doctoring. So at 1:04 "Pet her head." I expected you'd break her neck and she'd die, the end.
It wasn't that cruel, but it was close.
I really think this is a pretty realistic fangame about the real world, animals do get sick or injured and they can be cured but not everything can be fixed in the end.

I REALLY like the idea of having a Pokemon game take place on Antarctica or "Antaxius." There's a lot of potential there
this went about as well as I expected.
Besides, doctors dont get out-done entirely by the Re:Vive. The anime shows outright that pokemon can't *always* be healed by it, bad enough injuries won't be fixed, and sickness isn't healed ei.......ther.....

Found the following rules for the first two cases:
When handling the Skitty, painkiller first. Next is to calm the patient with the calming toy and petting before probing the injury. Be sure to talk to the Trainer for more information. Now it's time for the x-ray. Definitely a stay-in-center order and cone of shame. But yeah, amputation is unavoidable.
When treating the Pikachu, stop on your way in to grab a tissue -- it comes in handy. You were right to grab the glove before petting, then Observe. You picked the wrong disease, though -- it's the flu. He needs water and a pastry from the fridge. Flu means vitamin A (not C), but the rest order is right. But yeah, best to keep him away from electronics.
I love it when Eric does what we do to families of four but by accident.
the best part of this game is when it just turned into the plot of the thing halfway through
It is endlessly hilarious to me that the nurses in the actual game just take your Pokemon, put it on a machine, and take it off the machine. That would be a minimum wage job. But we are actually treating Pokemon centers like hospitals which is both super cool and kinda disturbing.
As soon as it said “My Ditto has gone rouge” all I thought was “is this a reference to The Thing?” This is a great fan game

The first mission's platinum ending results in Aida amputating skitty's tail, because skitty could no longer move her tail; as such, all dialogue hinting at her not being able to move her tail is in yellow.

I did some math to find out the amount of electric current that the Pikachu would produce for the Electrocounter.
For 1 second, 5.28571429 x 10^{-7} Coulombs of electric charge would move, or in other words, 5.28571429 x 10^{-7} Amps would be produced. Converting that number to Standard Form would look like around 0.0000005 Amps. Thankfully, that will not kill a person.
