Used this quick & easy method to fix my ryu hayabusa neca figures right leg, which was warped to the point where I was convinced that my figure had two left legs... Fixed my issue in about five minutes flat. Thanks so much man!
Thanks man for this tutorial I fixed the claws on my Dark Wolverine AKA Daken and one of my older Wolverines before the started using removable claws , Wolvie needs a few more dunks to get them a little straighter , but i am very satisfied with the results so far.
Thanks. I remember a few months ago I tried just regular hot water on a figure, and it didn't work, so I returned it. Now, I have that problem with a different figure, so I'll make sure it's boiling.

Recently purchased a sought after NECA alien 2-pack on ebay and was devastated when the warrior alien had bowed legs like you wouldn't believe....esp after what I paid for it. This method worked well for me and my figures are now display worthy! Thanks!

Thanks for this - Fixed a Godzilla figure that shipped with a bent dorsal plate (much easier than a joint). I knew I could get to it with heat, but didn't consider boiling water. Worked like a charm.

Dude your a genius thanks a lot I don't know what has Rose problem is when they made GI Joe action figures the plastic was always good and sturdy I just bought my Spider-Man and his left leg was out of place but thanks to you he looks great
Also works on loosening hands in order to get accessories in. NECA Nightstorm Predator now has the staff in place. A godsend.

Good video, but do you have any idea on how to make the joints less loose? I have a few figures which arms/legs are really flimsy and I wan't them to be stronger so that they can maintain a stable position and not flop around on it's own. Help?

+kaijuchevrolet Less of a hassle. You'd have to pour the water into a cup afterwards, and you don't have to watch a microwave to make sure it isn't boiling over.

It'll depend on exactly what you want to do with it and what type of plastic it is, but on softer plastic it should work just fine.
How do I fix a broken joint when the ball part gets stuck in the leg?

I'm not very good with joint repair, but I can try if you can tell me what sort of joint you're looking at. Is it ball and socket or swivel-hinge? How is it stuck in the leg? It might help to just tell me what figure it is and I can look it up.
its a ball joint at the hip, the ball is stuck in the socket.

I'm sorry to hear that! Depending on how it is broken, you may be able to splice in a joint from another broken figure or use a revoltech or polycap joint . Those are available usually through Japanese shops or Casting Cave. It's a bit of work, but it might be your only option if you can't return the figure.

i've gotten a revoltech fraulien rei. her right knee basically won't stay together. would this method work? or would you need more information on fraulien revoltech to answer? trust i've tried nail polish and super glue. neither worked.

Sorry for the lateness. It's a 6" figures from Hasbro's Marvel Legends/equivalent line for The Amazing Spider-Man. It may have been a Wal-Mart exclusive. The 7" figure by Marvel Select was much better in my opinion.
