@@fredrikrapp You'd think so, but there was no room under the hood to do anything. The block is almost identical, sure, but the timing case is thicker, the head is way wider, the induction system and factory airbox are massive. Whoever did the swap did it really quick and dirty, nothing was really optimized. They had a piece of nylon tubing drawing fuel from the fuel tank to an electric pump, it was sucking a bunch of air and would barely run. Once we got it running, there was a screeching noise when the clutch was in, we figured it was the throwout bearing, took the transmission out, nope. Crank walk. Thrust bearing was COOKED. over 0.100" of axial play. I think he sold the car after that, he had us put it back together the way it was.
Cool car and fun project! Btw the angle on the front control arms are way off, it will drive really bad with those angles. Unless its a stanceboy then it dosent matter.
Cars gonna be soooo sick
I’m gonna miss it for sure! 😢
I bet this car is going to be a riot to drive around. Cool stuff guys!👍🤙
Jeez, I worked on an S14 swapped 2002 a couple years back and even that was a tight fit.
Yea honestly I think anything is tight in this car 😂. 99% of the time you’ll
Have to cut the tunnel.
How can a s14 be a tight fit in a 2002? It's almost identical to the m10..
