- I found an extremely fast and easy farm giving around 60 legendaries per hour completely solo as well as a ton of season of the wish reputation. Using this method, I was able to get 99 wish engrams, 99 gunsmith engrams, and reset my seasonal reputation in only a couple hours of casual grinding. So in this video I’m going to show you how I did it and open up my 200 engrams to see if it was worth it.

Assuming the Riven armor focusing for this season has stats as good as the last few, this could be a really quick way for people new to building to get into 2x100 stat builds in just a day. (Also infinitely more fun than deep dives or defiant battlegrounds to achieve the same goal.)
Can confirm it does. Got a helmet focused with a 68 total.
@rubidium1948 I ran a coil and got a bunch of engrams which I focused into armor, and got several 67s and 68s out of about 12 engrams. So good news for the more casual players out there like me.
All focusing is high stat easy triple or quad 100 depends on your luck
I’ve been a bottom level player for a couple years and decided to buy the season pass this time around and its a completely different game now lol. Triple 100s from all sub 50s in a week and currently trying to get quads

A little tip for any new players, if you scoope with sniper or scout you can see chest at long distance in your scope

engrams gonna drop if you have full season only
i have done this circuit when i am low on glimmer for a long time. i do it for a few minutes in between coil runs to restock my lair keys. In general i would rather play the game to level up but it is a nice supplemental farm. it got me the last 200 rep to reset my rank with riven last night when i didn’t have time for another coil run

if you have wishful generosity (one of the seasonal challenges) completed you can guarantee a second wish engram every time you get a wish engram to drop effectively doubling profit
I noticed how easy it was when running around a bit in the mission today, nuts they give out engrams for seasonal focusing in a patrol area, it’s so brilliant. Definitely going tk have tk sit back grind a bit for this, why not

Quick question. If you max out the gunsmith engrams, is it guaranteed Wish engrams or do you just get nothing when you get more gunsmith engrams? I seem to be getting a ridiculous number of gunsmith engrams and not many wish

i get 40 chests before i get a single engram. did it get nerfed?

This doesn't work anymore. Opened 62 chests and didn't get an engram. At the very least it's much less than 10% chance now.

Not sure if this still works. Ive done like, 3 rotations around the area and the chests aren't dropping any engrams. Did they fix this recently?
Btw I'm not sure if it's a bug but you can still get the engrams to drop even without the season pass. So you could theoretically get every seasonal weapon crafted. (Tho you can't focus them)
I think this might have been fixed i just spent around 45 mins aggressively patrolling/collecting for a grand total of... 2 wish engrams and 7 gunsmith engrams.
Felt the same. But it’s just bad RNG, did this few days ago and got like one engram every 7-9 chests, got in today, got an engram 5 times in a row but can’t be bothered to farm more
For anyone wondering, this still works to a degree, the drops are heavily reduced, though I have found the chests give gunsmith and the Baryon Bough collectables give the wishes

Yes you do it’s how I got the weapon focusing challenge done earlier

In most other looter games, This method would be a part of the main grind, not some random find that is mindnumbingly borning to do.

This was working really great for me, but then last night I grabbed the heirloom legacy artifact from season of the deep and now I seem to be getting fish when I pick up resources on the dreaming city. I also don't seem to be getting nearly as many engrams as I was before getting the heirloom. I got rid of it but I still don't seem to be getting engrams as often as I was so be careful about picking up the legacy artifacts if you're trying to do this farm.
I think receiving fish as resources and in the odd chest is a sign that this is not working as bungie expected.
How is he getting double engram drops? Is it a seasonal thing with Riven you need to claim? Or is it in the season pass?
I'm doing this and only getting 1 engram every drop.

Lucky this season is set in Dreaming City, grinding and collecting resources there is so easy.
Seems like it was nerfed, they lowered the chances of getting engrams
Not nerfed you just have to unlock the double engram thing for this season

Just so the people know who don't have patience. It's a 10% drop chance. Meaning it doesn't drop like candy. But still drops. You also don't need to keep fast traveling. Just keep running the outer part of the mists and the chests and resources will keep respawning due to other players grabbing them too. Have fun. Wearing the armor set helps too
I'm pretty sure they've shadow nerfed this. I was doing this farm when i first saw this video and it was great. Now trying it i'm barely getting any engrams
I noticed that I was getting an obscene number of engrams while running around Dreaming City last night.
I also noticed that you use the broken ghost shell. That's my favorite one, I never changed mine!

I did this today for a few hours, less than half the chests granted vendor rep and the boughs granted none. I also didn't get a single wish engram, and only got about 5 gunsmith engrams. So I was either mad unlucky or they've already nerfed this.

No, do you own the season pass?, that's probably why your getting none, its a seasonal engram so you would need the season pass to get them
@@jaydenchui5948 It's probably not, because I own the season pass. I did it again today for around an hour and didn't get any wish engrams and a small handful of gunsmith engrams, only got rep from less than half the chests and the occasional 5 rep from boughs. This has 100% been nerfed, and it makes sense they would. You're not supposed to be able to reset vendor rank after a few hours of game play and definitely not supposed to max out your vendor engrams that quickly.

I've got like 80 engrams with riven, gunsmith & zavala. Given legendary shards are going & i have decent god rolled weapons & armour i guess they're useless right?? I also have 500k glimmer 😐

I did it for about an hour last night just to test it out. I got 7 wish engrams and 12 gunsmith in an hour. I was quick about looting everything and refreshing too, but that's the best my luck gave me so no way would i get 99 of both in three hours.I have a hard time believing your luck/numbers here.

This sounds like a good idea if I don't have the time do do any specific activity, but I don't think I could grind this for 3 hours straight
I have seen that You can use bountiful harvest on your ghost if you want to also farm glimmer while at it
I also tried if the glimmer booster did something but it did nothing
Glimmer is not hard to get, this is mainly focused on the engrams and keys

All I get from the chests is Spirit of Riven
If you're a f2p player, it doesn't drop seasonal engram (big sad) but it does drop gunsmiths engram and it give a little amount of riven reps as well, also dc is also the fastest place to farm it as well, very painless compare to blind well
yeah i just realised that when i tried this you ned have FULL SEASON to get them drop

yes, just open them instead of focusing
They patched this flipping madness it's regular chest spawn timers in a location the chests in the game are useless and the planetary materials

Quick update on this farm either i have the typical raid luck or they nerfed the chance for wish engrams to drop. After 3 hours gunsmith engramms are dropping consistently but wish engrams are like 2 in 30 mintes or so. Basically way worse let me know if yall have a different experience
And on top of that the amount of chests that spawn also seems to have been nerfed as i only get 4 to 5 chests per loading on average

The guy did say its a 1/10 percent chance. The video is edited to where he only clipped togethers scenes of him getting the drops like candy but in reality its probably below average
