This would be a great signal for new generation of electric cars as a evolution for automobile. I am not good at high technology but I'm very interested in cars and the latest electric vehicle's technology. This video is very helpful to understand what technologies include and apply to IONIC5, especially, IONIC5 E-GMP technology, battery science and its goal as a new electric vehicle. Great Show! And you have good humor. I did not expect this. That kind of show i couldnot find in europe/germany by VW or Daimler. I would like to know if hyundai tells us the brutto size of the battery or the usable size?
Usable size, except it could be different in the US due to different market regulations. You can find more details on this and many other subjects if you google Ionigforum and ev-database :-) 100% charge aka SoC in an Ioniq is not 100% SoC in the battery. That is one of the ways Hyundai makes their batteries last. We have driven almost 110.000 km in nearly 4 years and still have 100% battery health and have not yet experienced any loss of range.
