The more Ammo you got the more electric summons?

Not more, its 1 turrent per "Slam" however the more ammo you spend the longer the turret remains active.

Hey I’m new like my hammers at lvl 10 I take a lot of dmg what armor do you suggest I wanna be tanky and do dmg

This is not perfect but was quickly built at lower armour levels you might need to pick what cells you do and what gear you level first.
I've used gear from behemoths that are easy to farm
