Appreciate you the clearing this up. In Tampa Florida that level of spending would require an income of $375,000 just to break even after taxes.
I can't wait for the travel CAA option video. If possible, please feature an individual or a company that hires travel CAAs.
Ooo yessss
In the meantime check out gasworks and bag mask for which companies hire CAAs :)
@@CAALifestyleI don’t see any travel CAA jobs on the job boards only a few locums. When I registered with Vivian for travel roles and spoke to a recruiter they only want CRNAs not CAAs. Looking forward to your response as I really would like to be 1099 after school vs w2 ❤️
@@MelLiftsAndThrifts locum is travel work :)
Thank you for this. I am still caught between the CAA and CRNA career paths to maximize my veteran benefits. I am not worried about autonomy or the scope of practice thanks to your videos.
During my recent shadowing experience, the CAA I was shadowing felt that, other than the fact that CRNA can practice independently, the two career paths are very comparable. A noticeable difference is schooling pathways; there are videos on UA-cam that you may find helpful: ua-cam.com/video/AREqWwfzwFU/v-deo.html or ua-cam.com/video/5PuB3yJAi9o/v-deo.html
@@Kencan254 I love rhiana's videos! I've been a subscriber of her and her family since AA school :)
Can you make more videos on travel CAAs?
Absolutely!
Can you make a video about the different levels of CAA and compensation? (There is no UA-cam videos out the about it etc As I have seen jobs out there for the Chief CAA position & Department Chair)
Hi Chabely, I’m training to be an AA in the UK. I am trying to figure out how I can move and practice in the US. AAs in the UK are currently fighting an uphill battle against anesthesiologists that are doing everything they can to get rid of us rather than truly utilise us to increase patient flows and reduce backlogs. If you could offer some advice or know someone who may be able to help, I’d really appreciate it. Great video on CNBC. You’ve worked hard and enjoy all the successes that come with it!
Hi! I know of an international UK AA who was recently featured on the awakened anesthetist podcast if you want to check it out.
I believe it requires a sponsorship and extra training to work in the US as a CAA.
I love that shot lol
Could you please post in the comments or make a video of all books & their authors, you used when you were in the caa program. Please please please! ❤️❤️❤️
You mentioned having 1 day off, so are you working 6x8hrs now? Or what's your schedule like?
I go more in depth in this video but I worked 4 out of 5 weekdays!

Can you please make a video regarding the job outlook for this profession, I already expect it to be a saturated field, but would like to know what your experience says since you’ve worked for a few year now and along professionals with over 10 years of experience, thank you so much!
I have a prior video in which I cover some of my thoughts. I hope you enjoy:

With the rise of AI, do you think that in the future, you'd potentially be competing w AI as a CAA? im considering going through the CAA route but I want to make sure that even w AI, there would still be job security in this field. Happy holidays 🎄🎄
This is my pure speculation, but I think that AI would complement anesthesia but not necessarily replace. I think we are time away from full automation in medicine. But a breakthrough could happen at any time and affect any field of work. Happy holidays!
Out of a scale of 10, how stressful was school and how stressful is work overall? And if you could give the reasons and examples that'd be great!
I cover some of the examples in this video:
ua-cam.com/video/5cq3DBpjDas/v-deo.htmlsi=osnm4PaNiHvNJfEf
It depends on the surgery, health status of the patient, etc on how stressful the work can be!
@@CAALifestyle thanks. I watched that one but could you give an avg rating overall? What are some specific stressful events that come up and how frequently? Is there a constant low level of stress that the patient could have something go wrong or a slight human error could cause large problems?
How can I contact with you for advices ? 🥺
CNBC brought me here
Can Anesthesiologist Assistants work in Texas? I am about to complete my undergraduate degree in computer science. Can I take the AA pre-reqs at community college and apply to AA programs ?
Yes, and yes. They are hiring CAA's in Houston, Austin, and now Dallas too. You can do pre-req's at community college, but biochemistry might be hard to do there. Do keep in mind that AA school is very competitive now. Like as competitive as DO school.
How smart do you have to be to do this? I know that question if very subjective and depends on your dedication; however, I’m scared I would fall behind with the course load.
I cover my ideas about that in my Pre-AA playlist:
ua-cam.com/play/PLnA73D8ZlTds6fc4l_ZnxPuqYJdinPmz7.html
I had no way CAAs could make that much money. That’s like an investment banker’s salary.

@@isleburgjasonjoelboyd lol it wasn’t done by a bot. My friends used to call me a robot because of how productive and prompt I was in school :)
@@CAALifestyle Did you need help completing any tasks though Chabaly?
We need to keep this career a secret if not it's going to get saturated just like the Pharmacists.
Check out why I believe/speculate the field will not be saturated with the current and future demand:
