- Should you take the SAT or ACT? Which test is easier? In this video, I present 3 reasons why you might prefer the ACT over the SAT. Based on my research, it seems to come down to reading, math, and science, and among these three sections, which ones are you best at?

Reason 1 - If you're confident in your math abilities but maybe not reading, the ACT might be better because math is more advanced, but reading is weighted less and is less complex.
Reason 2 - If you're really good at science, then go for the ACT. If you can work with dense non-fiction, graphs, and tables, the science section can be an easy way to boost your composite score.
Reason 3 - ACT requires faster reading. If you're a good test taker and can manage time effectively, you might have an edge on the ACT.

I regret not taking the ACT earlier, took the SAT twice and got a 950, after taking the ACT, I felt so much more confident about how I did and it was like a 100x easier than the SAT, the questions were much more straightforward and really , time management and a basic understanding of concepts is all you need , I only took the ACT once and I already like it a lot better

Hello Rishab, great video on the ACT ! When you got a 36 on ACT, did you got 36 on all 4 sections or was your 36 curved ? I meant to ask was your 36 a pure 36 with no mistakes or curved 36 ? Did you take ACT writing ?

The next ACT seems to be September 10. However, the registration for that closed on August 5th. Your best bet is to register for the October 22 ACT. Good luck!
