  • The makers of the SAT and ACT have promised to make both tests available to students in the fall-in person and/or online. Taking one of these exams can help give you an edge when you apply for admission and financial aid. To figure out which one you should invest time in, you'll need to consider personal preference as well as audience. Our Editor-in-Chief Rob Franek breaks it all down in this video.

    everything that favours my application seems to lean towards SAT but since its more popular than ACT , i am worried that it will be buried under other apllicant's great scores

    I'm into Information Technology but I dont like maths,i can do maths but i just dislike it,I'm more of a english and science type of person,which would you recommend?

    • @Holdyourhandwhiledancing
      @Holdyourhandwhiledancing 2 роки тому +2

      Definitely the ACT. There are both science and English sections. The math section for the SAT is 50% whereas the act is distributed 33% each section. This gives you more room to perhaps not do as good in the math section

    How about both?

    • @dred4dead551
      @dred4dead551 4 роки тому +9

      You can if you want to, but I find it too stressful to study for two different exams. Plus with the costs, it might not be as possible.

    • @omkaar1886
      @omkaar1886 4 роки тому

      @@dred4dead551 you can still do both. Just to see what u do better at. Also, with superscoring, it's easier to super score in one test over the other usually. And, the act has changes so it's worth taking. Try both there's nothing wrong. If you can't afford it, u get a fee waiver.

    Considering my Anatomy final had 190 questions I had to do in the span of 2 hours the SAT actually sounds relatively easy. I’m saying this completely clueless btw 😂😂😂😂
    (I finished the final in 1h30)
