Peter Paul Tocco was a good man! He used to be at the Eastern Market every single weekend back in the mid to late eighties.. He and my grandfather Ross Hauk were always friends. My grandfather respected him. I used to go to go to the Eastern Market every single weekend with my grandfather to sell sweetcorn. He was the nicest guy. After my grandfather and I set up our stand, I'd always walk thru the market. Mr. Tocco was beyond generous and was very humble and nice. My grandfather was always friendly with him, and we eventually sold and delivered truck loads of sweetcorn to the east side every singleTuesday and Friday midday, you'd have never known he had ties to the Mafia. Everyone on the west knows the Zerrelli's ran west Detroit. Tony Zerelli had his hand in everything, the Tocco's ran the east side. I lived there and grew up around this stuff, the Detroit mob was everywhere back in the day. I remember watching the vlad interviews when they first came out and I didn’t know much about the mob scene at the time. Thought he was an electric storyteller and more or less assumed he was telling the truth. (bc what psycho would be on that big a platform and lie about mob ties?)

My grandfather was sent up to Escanaba to run a hotel. He came from Chicago. This was during prohibition. The mob sent him up there to run a brewery. So, yes, Michigan was instrumental especially for the bottlegging issue.

Briguglio was killed based on a misconception. Briguglio was seen leaving a courthouse as he was ordered to appear but never informed his superiors. Someone noted Briguglio, alerted Genovese family members, and he was subsequently killled.
That's what I've read several times and I believe it. However I will never rule out Frank Sheeran as the shooter. His book just has the ring of truth about it. Again though Scott is a fountain of Knowledge about this stuff so who knows...

scott is such an expert on allthings organized crime that i would usually just take his word at face value. the only thing that bothers me is how long scott co-signed the things gunner has talked about. small things bother me too, like on one episode gunner talks about pete cavatio as being disliked and scott agrees. i dont see gunner doing hours and hours of research digging to find out whether or not some random soldier from the 80s was liked or not. that type of stuff is usually either known by guys who bumped shoulder back then or hardcore, and i mean hardcore researchers. Gunner has a motormouth, and while he's never officially 'told,' the guy does dry snitch. he references 2 unsolved murders quite a bit. in this video burnstein even says he's getting heat from giacalone's because gunner is using his name, and that the giacalone's are not happy with what gunners saying. im just wondering if scott was told to cut ties to discredit gunner. i just dont see how scott would knowingly associate with someone he thought was a liar for 5 whole years. i cut people like that out of my life immediately. i guess at the end of the day, none of this really matters anyway. makes good youtube drama tho.

Scott, how are you doing? I am not going to go into too much detail but I am the real deal when it comes to certain individuals. I have an Aunt Connie. Alan was a tough guy at clubs and did hang out in some tough hoods. I have some older buddies who knew him back then. He lifted weights and could fight. I do know this with papers. Scott you are the expert in the research of things and regardless if he is officially tied to the life he did do work even if it was not directly acting in part or representing them. He ran plenty of scams in his younger years and made really good paper. He had good connects if only from people he met at the door of clubs or slinging roids. I heard from people who are not good pals and even some who hate Gunner that said he had great connections in firearms and seemed protected much of the time. On some of the work he did, some upper guys got him info and wanted cuts on the robberies. I know this for sure. Which is more than many guys that were 100% straightened out could say. Plus, not much happened in the D without the families giving the ok. Connections I am not gonna speak on directly but he isn't a lazy slouch when it came to fellas who could hold his own. I feel he deserves that even if it was not good stuff or something to be proud of socially. That's all I wanted to say. He never claimed to be Don Corleone he said he was a low lever street guy and there’s plenty of those guys around. @@adonisb39 Who knows what Gunners charges really were. He said he was charged with 17 capital crimes which is not even possible. Michigan doesn't even have capital punishment but crimes that carry the death penalty are capital crimes.

That can't be true because like I posted before the offense carriers the possibility of death. He claims he had 17 capital charges, that is ludicrous.
