cadywampus is uneven or crooked. Like if you have a square the sides would be uneven. I love that you're making the blanket for Thomas. it's a beautiful thoughtful gesture. And I also love that you framed Suzanne's blanket. Such a wonderful tribute to her.
Thank you, Juan. I really needed company tonight. Just wish it was longer, lol. The blanket is coming out beautifully and Thomas is going to love it, I've no doubt! 💜💜💜
@@JuliaDownham Ditto. Juan your podcasts are so good for uplifting my spirits. Normally I just watch your WIPin It sessions but tonight I crocheted along with you. It was fun!!I'm making the second side of a cushion just in random scraps of yarn. Then I will crochet a couple of of rounds on each piece in the same colour (dusky pink or dusty rose as you guys say) then crochet the sides together put the cushion pad in then crochet the last side. Not a very fast crocheter but hoping to get it done by Christmas🤞
Love the word cattywampus😂. Obviously I'd never heard it before being from the UK, but I shall use it in future for when my crochet goes lopsided because I haven't kept count of stitches. The blanket is lovely and it's such a kind thought to make it for Suzanne's son to remember her by.
Did you know that your local Joann store has a program called finishing End for projects just like these. You can register your craft trade for the families who can not finish their loved ones projects. It’s all volunteer
Uneven edges and crooked patterns are what Cattywampus means to me. It was an awesome tribute to Suzanne. Working on a Llama and continuing wirk on Boggy Blankets.
Hi 👋 Juan. Missed you at my Premier Live today opening up your Happy Mail Winnings I was gifted by you! Hope you are able to catch the replay. Aww ❤❤❤that is so so beautiful of you to complete Suzanne blanket and frame it in her precious memory. You are such a beautiful soul. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and sharing your beautiful light wherever you go! Our High School Mascot is Wampus Cat! How funny 😆 ❤❤❤
That was so nice to make Thomas a blanket with his mom’s yarn! I’m sure he will treasure the blanket. I would be interested in receiving a wip to finish or frog!
Love the blanket idea for Suzanne’s son, Thomas. Blessings to you for sending him that joy. The idea of completed one of your wips … love that idea! I think it would be so cool to complete a project you started!❤️. Just love your channel and watching you as I am trying to complete my projects.
Hi Juan ! 💜💜. I’m glad you said something about the hat. Because I was going to ask 😉😂. It looks nice on you brings out your dark eyebrows and eyes 🥰😍. Now yes red does look on you but the Blk, 😍😍JS ! You have a beautiful heart that’s so sweet of you to finish her blanket and make one for her son 💙💜💙💜🙏🏽🙏🏽. I hear you and I’m throwing it out there 🤚🏽I’ll take one of your half made projects ! Can’t wait for the hat tutorial. I’m putting them hats all on my list and as soon as I finish these Boggy Creek blankets ( 3 of them ) I’ll be going on a Juan hat tutorials binge 😂🤣😂💙💜💙💜💙
It is great for ne, here in the UK at this time Gives ne company, I don't normally have. And it keeps me working with rhe yarn. So rhank you so much for being my yarn buddy
Hey Juan, I enjoy your wipin-it videos very much. Thank you for the background crochet buddy. I do remember my favorite high school band trip coffee order was a quad shot mocha with a red bull chaser. It was sometimes the only thing that got me through competition.
Right!! I do too. I call big chairs like that Papa Bear chairs. They remind me of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. It is just the right size to curl up in and crochet.
The blanket is coming out lively! I’m sure Thomas will appreciate your very kind gesture in remembrance of his mom. ❤ WIP share would be fun! I mentioned on the live the other night about making your birthday blanket a round robin style project and send it to a member to do a few rounds they send it to the next person on the list to work on it… the last person to finish it would send it back to you. Just a thought to help you get it finished 🥰
Thomas's blanket is real pretty and what a lovely gesture. I almost bought that unicorn yarn a couple of years ago to make a baby blanket. It felt too soft I think its a 3 weight. I stick to the 4 weight yarn. For that baby blanket I used caron jumbo/one pound in the colorway easter basket. Turned out very pretty. Thanks for the video dont forget to show the finished project cant wait.
I have made 2 baby hats while watching this. I just finished making the last Christmas gifts and I am falling behind on my commitment to the local hospital nursery.
When growing up for us kittywampas is like off-kilter. In my mind if you did a granny square and after a few rounds you change and only crochet on two sides making the blanket a bit off-kilter or kittywsmpas.
I’m working on my 5th blanket the dragon fly pattern , all for one family for Christmas . Ready for a break in my shoulders . But thrilled to have come this far .
Another cattywampus idea! 😂😂 a while back (around your birthday?) you were gifted some mini skeins, if you haven’t already used them, perhaps create a cattywampus make with those! By the way, thank you for your c2c tutorial ❤, I just could not grasp the concept until watching you! And, I am making my 1st c2c, cattywampus style with left overs 🤣🤣🤣. Sending love from NZ 🇳🇿

I had to stop on my wip for now because I had to go and wash it. (LOL I got chocolate on it and it showed.) In your Saturday live I mentioned it in the comments (?) that I was making a Purple Rain Afghan from Creative Grandma and it looks like an illusion when it is all put together. She used the Lion Brand Mandala Gradient Purple. She used 7 skeins of the yarn and it is beautiful. So when it is dry enough I will get back to it. I have already finished my Christmas Afghan and I also made a Mandala sparkle shawl in the color Draco. She has been crocheting for over 45 years and she designed a lot of projects for Leisure Arts and Annies Attic and others I think she makes them for Premiere or Lion Brand (Her name is Glenda Winkleman if you want to find her projects in those booklets). She has her Grandson Crocheting now (he is also on her UA-cam channel with her). I am also trying to finish up my wips before moving on to other things because I recently decided to clean out my yarn closet cause I was looking for a particular kind of yarn that I wanted to use and I did not put those back into storage. Keep making these videos I need them in my life.

Hi, Juan😊
I started this session with one of your "it's just a hat" and moved to a chevron blanket to finish. I like to switch projects frequently.
