Will Arsenal regret selling Serge Gnabry to Bayern Munich?!
Wasn't sold directly to Bayern Munich.
Arsenal Producer wanted to say the same He got sold to Werder Bremen who sold him to Bayern a season later who then send him to Hoffenheim for a one-season-loan no offense EFD I really enjoy your content
Yes
Nope
la liga over inflates offensive stats
stat based again, Januzaj made ZERO impact at United and was even worse at Sunderland do you really think they regret selling him?
He also was incredibly bad at Dortmund.
was good at united under moyes
Stats can be helpful, but they shouldnt be the ONLY argument . To many people reply on stats, and dont look at the context.
What the fuck is "projected assist" and "projected goals" this is utterly retarded in a sport like football.
In basketball you can extrapolate production to an extent because the game has points pretty much every possession but how the fuck do you project how many assist or goals a player can score in a football game.
I can't even.
And using this to justify his poor performance was one thing.
But trying to extrapolate it to say "even better than Asensio and Isco" I have no words to describe how dumb this is.
As a chelsea fan i think that salah and de bruyne should be here
Hell yeah they should
@Patrick Van Straaten Papa Pato, great decision.
Pogba
The problem with including them is that Chelsea's list is so long that it would require a video for themselves.
yes, but you have no way of knowing if they would have got game time, to become the monster players they have become. if if if aunty balls
I miss Memphis more than I miss januzai
Patrick Van Straaten yeah but I never really thought januzai was cut out for the premier league he’s not strong enough januzai reminds me now of what rashford was like when we first brought him up from our academy he was talented but not tough enough to compete with the bigger lads in the league notice how rashford has toughed up now and he goes in for tackles and goes for the balls more I never believed januzai was able to do stuff like that but thanks for the response
Depay has a buy back clause
Moeez Ishtiaq we still sold him
Agreed however i dont miss januzaj at all guy may look half decent in spain but hes toilet really, wish we kept Memphis
@@moeezishtiaq4868 I thought the French League didn't allow buy back clauses
As a United fan Depay, Chicarito and Di Maria are the players in recent memory that I wish we never sold
Don't think di Maria ever really wanted to be at united. Don't think he had the bottle for it either. Chicha I loved and he loved united but he spent half his time offside. He played well when paired with Rooney but then we brought in rvp and he single handedly won us the league. Can't really argue with that.
Depay has a buy back clause
Seamus Dillane di Maria started off decently but he failed to adapt to the prem
He got his house robbed which sums it up
Agreed on Di Maria but I always wanted to see him do well for us, might have worked well with Mourinho...If that's possible nowadays. RVP was another player I wished we gave a year extension.
Pogba was also sold
Crazy how young Januzaj is. He’s been on the go for what feels like ages.
januzaj u serious?
This guy obviously doesn't know the BPL that much as a Chelsea fan that has
plenty of friends that are Chelsea Man utd Liverpool Newcastle & Leeds fans
Januzaj is not the red devils biggest loss Di Maria,Hernandez & Depay is plus
Jones never living up to his potential at united as i'm told this daily
Chelsea Big loss Diego Costa & mata as they were important players in the side scoring regular & creating regular
Salah De Bruyne Lukaku never really got a chance in a Chelsea shirt so was best 4 them to leave & develop kids never get a chance at top 6 clubs they want player for now not future This big problem with youth in big clubs in BPL
@@MrSeanpaulfan1 But that's just boring y'know
What about Thauvin being sold from Newcastle???
Beni Prec flop
Tottenham shouldn't have sold Bale and Modric
muhammad al hafidz players wanted to go tho
Next, kane....
Expected goals is literally the most useless stat in football, stop acting like it's the be all and end all ffs
Looool
How is it useless?
Tom Marchant because that's not how football works some players are adept finishers and some are not
Trae Bright it’s more to do with quality of keepers that stops the goals, it’s good because if a player is very lucky it shows and hense clubs can buy actual good players and not one season wonders
What about pablo maffeo for man city, he was great in girona ans then city sold him to stutgard
They have a buy back option
#StatWarsTheLeague
Who am I?
3 points- I've played with Cannavaro, Robinho, Lucas Moura, and Steven Pienaar
2 points- I've played in the Milan derby, the El Clasico and the Manchester derby in which I have scored in all of them.
1 point- I'm my country's record goalscorer with 62 goals
Answer: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
#StatWarsTheLeague
Who has had the most assists while playing for Pep Guardiola?
Answer: Lionel Messi
2points is obvious
It could have also been beckham
Sreenath Gopal becks didn’t play wit pienaat
On the same token as Angeliño, Man City also sold Pablo Maffeo and hurt their depth in the fullback area there too
You can do this video just with Chelseas mistakes
HAHA Januzaj wouldn't be surprised if you said Wes Brown or John O'Shea in your next list if you think United would regret selling Januzaj
Gnabry made sense
Edit: did not know about the Olympic part
In Gnabry’s last season with the U21’s for Arsenal, he only scored 3 goals and was a terrible finisher. He then told Wenger he wouldn’t sign a new deal and was promptly sold to Werder
This is partly due to some players developing and playing better when not in the absolutely brightest spotlight of the football world. There´s less pressure away from 15 to 20 biggest clubs in Europe, and of course, better chances of getting minutes and hence developing further. Then, after 2 to 5 years, they may be ready for the absolute top.
Suso and Aspas, Liverpool
Suso definitely, Aspas couldn't kick snow off a rope when he was with us it made sense
Suso was a mistake for sure. And yes, Aspas is great now, but he would never have become great at Liverpool. Some player-club combinations just don't work. Aspas and Liverpool are one of them
Et Luis Alberto
@@gerardwhytelads That corner vs Chelsea still gives me nightmares
Cormac Ahern and Luís Alberto
Could listen to Pato's voice all day long.
Suso already looked like a very interesting young prospect at Liverpool, and now he’s doing pretty well for AC Milan.
I think mata when he was at Chelsea, he was club player of the year twice in a row and helped us win the champions league.
Gerard pique from manu to Barca. Pogba from manu to juventus. Salah and debruyne sold by chelsea
Expected goals and now expected assists?
A threesome was not expected by me.
if you'd been wondering, 2:00 is the first instance of 'expected goals' by PVS
MY CLUB REAL SHOULDN'T
HAVE SOLD
*RONALDO*
Seems like he didn't want to be there
WIN LOSE OR TIE MADRIDISTA TILL I DIE the fat one?
@@Rossoneri2 bc perez dumbass didnt show that intrest if he had the he could have extended the contract just look at barca and Messi
He is fucking 33 years old he is gonna be shit in 2 years that was a smart move
You're in a dilemma now pal
Plz make a video of best players who play 2nd division football
lets face it, these people don't have a clue on what they're on about in the top flight let alone 2nd tier. HITC sports is where youd want to go for that stuff
Get innnnn! Pato's brilliant voice is back....
As a juve fan I really would’ve liked tevez to stay longer. It did give time for dybala to grow but I really think tevez would make the difference especially in the 2015/16 season
Saw angelino play at NYCFC, he was clearly a step above the other players despite being 18
As a Chelsea fan I feel this should be full of former Chelsea players even before I watch.
Edit: No former Chelsea players
pato says its overdone
@@mrhokagesmith4146 He's probably right though now that I think about it.
As a Liverpool fan and seeing sterling’s stats this season and last season compared to agueros stats who is an out and out striker, I wish we didn’t sell him. Could have been extremely useful in our club
That was before Klopp came in, no way we could’ve kept him especially since he wanted the bigger pay check.
Samuel Eto'o left real and became a star. Feel like he should have been here. This is coming from a madrid fan
Gnabry was in the last year of his contract and refused to re-sign. I have no issues with him being sold.
You could make a whole vid based on Lyons young sales they just sold geubbels to monaco and maolida to nice 2 very promising youngsters also sold diakhaby to Valencia mammana to zenit and now have poor defensive options
Gonna have to disagree with you on Januzaj. Mainly because Martial is a great creator, just the chances he makes regually get wasted by the attack, Januzaj would do nothing to change that. Plus Chong is coming up from the academy
Question is whether those players would have flourished under their former clubs. I'd argue a move is sometimes neccesary to unlock players potential. Either due to the system being used or better coaches and youth development systems at the new club. Unless your intentions are to ruin a player. It makes no sense to keep a promising talent if you cannot get the best out of them.
Fernando Suso- Liverpool
De Bruyne & Salah - Liverpool
Depay- Manchester United
Thauvin- Newcastle
Nathan Ake- Chelsea
Lucas Digne- Barcelona
Zaha- Manchester United
When did KDB play for liverpool?? And when did Salah leave liverpool??
Januzaj was a joke at man utd/sunderland. sometines you have to leave to grow. Gnarby got a big injury and was before that close to the first 11. Also there was something with the contract, but not sure about that.
Zaha! And Martial might make another appearance on this list soon if Mourinho doesn't leave.
Liverpool - Where to began , Suarez Countinho Luis Alberto and Suso and even Aspas .
Lol barcas academy club🤣
What about joe Lolley from Huddersfield to Nottingham forest he’s scoring like mad and an all rounder this season
Next up Torreira...jesus christ what a bargain for Arsenal
@No Defense 25 mil. For a potential world class cdm of only 22 years of age...
Chelsea shouldn't have sold Costa. Imagine currently Hazard (LW), Costa (CF) Willian (RW) would be the best attack in EPL
if this was man city my list would be: (in any order)
1. sancho
2. kasper schmeichel
3. denis suarez
4. trippier
5. angelino
6. rabiot
7. sturridge
8. jason denayer
My club? Oh boy, where should I start..
Jan Oblak, Ederson, David Luiz, Nelson Semedo, João Cancelo, Matic, Axel Witsel, Bernardo Silva, Renato Sanches, Ramires, Angel Di Maria, Rodrigo Moreno, Gonçalo Guedes
It's a shame though, benfica seems like it's always going to be a selling club
@@esotericfootball According to the president they were able to finally ceate the financial conditions to start changing the status quo and good offers were already refused this past summer for Ruben Dias, Gedson Fernandes and João Felix. The problem is that now the team's quality is very far from what it was just a few years ago when those players were still here
psychospin1 that’s brilliant to hear actually, I’d love to see them compete in Europe soon. If only my club sporting were financially capable of that and had a president that gave a fuck
Always love more content🤙
to be fair Gnabry wanted to leave and had only a year left on his contract
People who think De Bruyne and Salah should be here because of Chelsea selling them don’t know anything about football. They wouldn’t be close to the players they are now because they wouldn’t get a chance due to some top players already in their position. Chelsea were absolutely right to sell them, the only issue is they play for rival clubs
Maybe so for Salah and Lukaku but De Bruyne looked super promising by then, which was weird especially when Lampard was setting off...
P.J. Dales the problem is Chelsea know who they’re signing before they know who they’re letting go, so we made signings in his position which forced them to let him go for the good of his career. When considering that, there was no reason to keep him, so it was an unsurprising sale
P.J. Dales KDB was competing with Eden Hazard at the time.
@@pj9100 bro, KDB was had good season when chelsea loan him to wolfsburg. I know he was hard time to get time in chelsea but actually chelsea should loan him again instead sell him considering he was still young
George boateng.gareth Barry.stewart downing. Ashley young. James Milner. Dwight Yorke. Christian benteke. Fabian delph I could carry on. the list of shouldn't of purchased is worse
No suso?Surprise after he was talking about how much impressed he was with suso
Mate - Salah & De Bryune, Bale & Modric!!!
Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd?
I knew they would be here
Please sod off with this Januzaj drivel 🤣🤣🤣
Suso for Liverpool should never have gone and should probably be brought back
Thiago Alcantara, Mauro Icardi, Héctor Bellerín, Keita Baldé, Adama Traoré from FC BARCELONA ?
Lukaku,De Byrne and Salah should be here
To be honest you can fill a team of Former Lyon players who they shouldn’t of sold.
Pogba, sold for peanuts and then bought back for a mint and now serially underperforming. Double whammy.
Manchester city will regret selling Jadon Sancho. I hope Arsenal gives Reiss Nelsen game time next season after his load from Hoffenheim.
You conveniently forgot to mention that Gnabry's contract had 6 months left on it & he rejected Arsenal's new offer.
Swapping Alexis with Mkhitaryan seemed pretty dumb to me, an Arsenal fan, when it happened. Now I'm happy we got rid of him because his form has declined A LOT.
If he would still be at ARS, he would star Under Emery
while these and other players may have performed better at other clubs following moves, there is nothing to suggest that they would have had the same impact if they had stayed put, without getting game time and building the confidence of consistent performances, who is to say if Mo Salah would be sat on the Chelsea bench or reserve squad, had he not been sold, maybe Kevin de bruyne ends up leaving for a worse level of football, after wasting more time at Chelsea, sometimes its the fit that matters more than the quality of the player. Good managers buy players that fit into their style of play, Mo Salah is perfect for Liverpool, but may never have fit in to a different club, Coutinho looked like a god at Liverpool, but is struggling to get a game at Barcelona, is this a reflection on his obvious talent or a poor selection process for transfers, at Barcelona, either way i have no doubt he would still be performing at Liverpool. So on reflection why would these clubs regret their decisions if they felt that player was a poor fit holding onto them simply to ruin the players career and hit their own chances would be folly.
Janujaz and depay still have buy-back clause
Salah, De Bruyne, Lukaku(Chelsea)
As a german you nailed Borussia München Gladbach
You guys should make a video on players who had normal jobs (or had normal lives) before they made it as a footballer!!!
This show is clueless, arsenal wanted to keep gnabry, wenger offered him a new and improved contract but he took a downpayment to get his move to bayern, i cant remember who he ended up joining first, maybe hoffeinhem, but hes now at bayern, rarely playing aswell
Manchester city edin dzeko that man is a stud
Actually he wasn't look suit for prem, he not quick enough for the league imo but yeah choose negredo over him pellegrini was on the crack honestly since dzeko always had impact when play for city
Man city don't regret selling him.. Because we have great strikers in the form of Sergio and gabriel
Well, Manchester City activated the buyback clause for Angelino
JUST SAW DOUGHIE JOGGING in Clapham AND WAVED HELLO AND HE JUST SAW ME AND IGNORED ME 😭🙃😞 I must admit he is a lot bigger than I anticipated. I don’t have Twitter please tell him I said hello 👋
KDB! had to be on this list.
As a spurs fan I think Luke modric and Gareth bale should be here
You would have no money if you haven't sold them
SL Benfica sold Bernardo Silva to Monaco for 15M EUROS
He said it expected goals
I’m so surprised
Liverpool should not sold Suarez,Torres,Coutinho,Alonso,Mascherano
Why Pat's not talking about XG's have we pissed him off
You might as well say everyone that's left Monaco
You Can't win a match on expected goals. It's only goals that matter
Sometimes players have to move to get game time I'm order to improve
How on earth can you not have KDB on this list?
Barca and grimaldo was the worst decision for me
Sanchez earns €350k/week, still too much but not €500k
Hadn't heard of number 10 before, I guess man city do make mistakes sometimes
Toni Kroos should be on this list.
I’m a big fan of Saul Niguez
jordan sancho has to be on this list surely!
@@izzuddinfaruqi1493 yeah sorry I meant jadon
Where do they get their stats from?
They sold gnabry and kept iwobi💀😂
Monaco the list is endless since James Rodriguez
That’s why immobile goes so fast on fifa haha
Janujaz? HELL NO !! Im not even united fan but this kid just had 1 decent season under moyes and straight garbage after that
Delph? Danilo? Zinchenko?
Forgetting a certain somebody?
Mendy
Inter shouldnt have sold Seedorf, Roberto Carlos, Pirlo, Coutinho and now Zaniolo
It was a stupid move to buy Naingolan for millions plus Zaniolo. Inter got stoled by Monchi and Roma
@@k.more1995 Zaniolo is probably the only good thing that Monchi did right at Roma, about the rest is all meh (even getting Santon from the Nainggolan deal too), in fact now the spanish is already out of the club
@@andrethethrashe Yeah, I know. He's going to Arsenal, I think
Man city don't have Benjamin Mendy then!
Red Star - Luka Jović
SK Brann should have signed Oumar Niasse permanently in 2012
claudio bravo
Feel like Suso should be on this
None of these where ever at my club .
