Both my grandparents, and many of my uncles, were arrested and imprisoned for fighting against both the British and the Muslims. I just came back from a remeberance party of an old uncle who passed away some time ago, and was a very young child at that time, and tried to get arrested as a precocious child who just wanted to do what his elder family members were doing to fight, but was so young that even the British and Muslims had enough heart to not arrest him. Our family and friends were killed by the British and Muslims. And now they both still have the audacity to say their colonialism and brutal conquering was of benefit to us?
The people represented in the final credit song are the freedom fighters who honesty don't get that much recognition. Indian freedom struggle was conquered through layers of movement. And I do not mean to demean anyone's contribution but it was not just one man or one man who made it possible. Many of these heroes are unsung and that is a real tragedy.
The third R is Rajamouli, the director of the movie initial. Three R's represent the first letter of their names. We didn't even expect this movie to this level. They are the top actors and also the director from Tollywood it is not easy to see them in a single movie.
