The Tagforce series was what truly defined the franchise "videogame wise" and is still to this day one of my favorites when it comes to the cardgame. Sure it might be archaic by today's standards since the game has evolved way past it's inception but you can't deny that the Tagforce games were truly a gem of it's time and still wish we had more of it today.
especially elemental hero deck, no, gahh I have polymerization and no cards to fuse, since almost every 2 elemental heroes can fuse meaning your rarly without an ability to fuse.
Another thing I appriciate with Tag Force game is how they explained why Player doesn't age between GX and 5D's. It turns out that he is actually Duel Robot that raised Aporia in the future during Mechlord Genocide. He got lost in a time stream, got most if his memories erased and ended up in Duel Academy.
This is extra-hilarious considering how many girls Red Hat-kun steals/romances in the Tag Force series. Guess the girls prefer some robo-loving to their idiot human boyfriends. Mega-based, I say.
Sherry said adieu my love in tag force 6 and in tag force 5 she said I enjoyed time sleeping with you in your room Well , I had a crush on her before playing the game imagine after the game xD xD
Konami needs to remaster these games for modern systems then market them heavily to the "notalgia crowd" that isn't a fan of modern Yu-Gi-Oh. These games are like time capsules to older eras.
if you think of it, with their other collectionslike castlevania they could, with early days coming out they then could do, WC's, then tag force or such.
First thing they need to do is to at least let us have the voices turned on normally without having to mod the game, it's so awkward seeing the characters talk without any voice during cut-ins (also small nitpick is to give the option to use the original names of the characters not their dub version (I still don't like Blair Flannigan, Saotome Rei is far superior))
I really wish they made more of em, I feel like any format that wasn't just standard yugioh or some minimalist version of it was such a breath of fresh air and tag force being a whole thing in of it's self really says how much people liked them, you can ask most yugioh players if they know about tag force and I'm sure they'd say yes or have played it, tag dueling is such an underrated thing especially when it's creative and not just running two of the same deck.
Best yugioh game ever made. I played everyone of them. They actually had the real TCG rules and GX was my favorite season anyway. Great animations and the system was fast unlike other games. Good music and story.
This Game and Series is very close to my heart, mostly because it was actually the Tag Force Series that taught me how to Play the Card Game itself, so I really appreciate this Video. Also, yeah, the fact that the Game isn’t clear enough with what you’re supposed to do in Part 1, I could agree might’ve been a huge oversight, I can remember when I first played this Game, I had no idea what I was supposed to do and went through all of Part 1 without even realizing I was supposed to do something during that time and i ended up being stuck on Part 1 until I saw a Video and realized I was supposed to bond with someone to make them available as a Partner for the other Parts. Still, despite that, i think this is my favorite Game in the Series, while I do still think that the Later Titles are pretty Nice in their own Rights, I do miss how the First Game did things, Hm, i wonder how a Remake would be like?
What made the Tag Force series interesting for me was the animation and dialog during the duels. Seeing the characters move like the anime really made me feel like i was playing the duel in the anime. Tag Force Special didn't include the duelist animation and the LOTD series is completely bland with the lack of interactions, so it really diminished the feel during gameplay. I do wish Konami would go back to that instead of being lazy.
My favoeite Yugioh game growing up was Sacred Cards. It was the only one I played as a kid that allowed you to have control of a character that could walk around and explore the environment, and that made it so much better to me than other Yugioh games I played back then and I wanted more games like that. I fell out of Yugioh games after Sacred Cards, but recently, now in adulthood, I've come to learn that so many more Yugioh games were made that gave you that kind of explorable world. Reshef of Destruction, the 5DS trilogy on DS, these Tag Force games, and a couple others! I'm excited to hop in and give some of these a go
Tag force is geat series lol. I enjoy how the mc grow from slifer red student everybody hate in TF 1-3 into a giga chad in TF4-6 complete with his custom black and gold duel disk. Also the music of TF 4 onward is just awesome with toward the light, clear vision, back to 2001 part 2 and part 3, etc.
My first Yugioh game ever and honestly the best. I had prior knowledge on how to play the game as a kid from watching the anime. But this game taught me in-depth mechanics that paved the way for me to become an expert duelist.
What I love about tag force is being able to play cards exclusive to the anime and manga. I remember playing while traveling, and since I'm introverted I usually play alone lmao. My best memories are creating exploits and infite then finding out that they are use in irl lol. Fun times...

One thing I loved about this series (along with the 5DS games for NDS) it that it was not afraid to make you a total badass in-story. You get to save the day, and not the heroes? The villains identify YOU as the biggest threat? You get to totally derail the story with your awesome deck? My favorite might be "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011: Over the Nexus". What set this apart from the PSP version is that it's more open-world. You can literary ride a vehicle. You can customize your own created character looks such as hair, clothes, face, colors, and even dual-disk. It also has a original story, not completely original so it's still follow the anime story, but original enough to make sure your character is very involved, like completely original character as your teammate rather than anime character for example, then you eventually meet that anime character throughout the story. And dual-screen means, I can look at one screen for info and another screen for dueling rather than switching it in the menu. Tag Force version does have more cards, better graphics, better animation, can build deeper relationship with other characters since there's gifts, has a larger screen, the story is like a daily life which some might prefer over a open-world game that just follow through the anime story even if they try to keep it as original as possible. But that was still enough for me to like the DS version more though, and it's still my favorite. Lol XD
I do think it's a good game, but i find it's sequeal is more superior and even other titles like Spirit Caller and Duel acdemy where better overall with offer a much deeper imersion than tag force!

I think it is one of the things that made the great and gave it a special taste where you can go and this time you make sure you do not miss up. I do think it is part of the experience as a whole, just like how you go to shops and such and make friends, the same goes for not making friends and fail to get a partner, all of this part of being immerse in the universe of the game!
does GX Tag Force's AI shamelessly cheat like Tag Force 5 ? i legit dropped Tag Force 5 because of it. it always plays like it knows your Spell/Trap cards.
Hmm, im not feeling it. I think it all depends on what game you played first. I can't fathom how ppl like duel academy gx, was very boring, deck construction sorting was basic, no random opponent option, no big motivation to duel except to get pts, called a loser for sleeping to get to meaningful events, no story, few places to go, exams done before we reasonably get enough cards, fusion e.g. This game gives me ptsd from all that.

YGO fan translation are looked down upon. You can thank that God awful translator Clickclaxer01 for making a mockery of the Tag Force series. Adding profanity, unfunny jokes, cringe humor, extreme bias to character names and characters, not bothering translating Tag Force original characters properly (or at all for some to flat out removing their dialog). @@d4rkpr1nc39 zexal is probably the best series I wish it had tag force , the vr sets , the summoning animations
Bro es ñ? ✌️
nah duel monsters still
I domt like the story mode of psp games.prefer ds games
also no all those stupide new summons and powercreep mechanics xD
This game was/is AWESOME! 5DS and everything afterwards is absolutely garbage though.
The ones after weren't bad at all but for 5D's TF6 is the best one and TF special is really good but the translation was terrible at first.
:)
Tag force 1 was garbage idc what anyone says it's literally a sandwich grind tf yall on
I remember beating the beginning of destiny version of this game before I ever knew how much the sandwiches could boost affection. They weren't necessary at all.
Duelist of the roses shits on this game
shit taste spotted
they definitely should have this game for nintendo
If I ever play these these games, it when I fully learn Japanese, as I have no interest in the awful censored garbage of English Yu-gi-oh, the Japanese version of Yu-gi-oh anime should be accessible in the west but finding it online on websites is easy
It's why you're better off learning and post info somewhere. Cause Clickclaxer01 damaged the Tag Force community. (he also never learns. He doubles down on his awful ways)
Estan muy guapos estos juegos
