Hey Adam I was in the stream the whole time it was awesome
I was like that like a year ago you will improve bud, if you keep playing, good job for the emote! One of the ones I got when was released
I would recommend landing at steamy stacks, or flush factory. flush factory is great because it has materials, and nobody lands there, and steamy stack is good because it has a good mode of transportation, and nobody lands there.
Quick tip:
Grey (Common) weapons are the weakest
Green (Uncommon) weapons are okay for mid-game
Blue (Rare) are stable weapons that are most used
Purple (Epic) are strong weapons but can be hard to find
Gold/Orange (Legendary) weapons are hard hitting weapons that have fast fire rates and reload times
Gold (Mythic) weapons, are rare special weapons with only one of each in the game. The ones right now in my opinion are kinda doo doo with a sniper, jetpack, and invisibility cloak
Blue and white (Exotic) weapons are fun weapons, which cost gold. Gold is a currency you get from killing players and other tasks, and carries over every game. They can be bought by select NPC's

This is more entertaining than fortnite sweats
TIP: Turn on "visualize sound effects" in the settings so that u know from where people shoot you and try adjusting you camera angle and where you look . If you want to get good at building then switch to builder pro in settings and turn on turbo building

Here are some tips in fortnite try to build more often to protect yourself and always play with a team and always go to the safe zone and find atleast a shotgun any gun atleast you are good a using it okay and make sure you jump often and open chest for good weapons that's all I have to say
