As a brazilian I have to say, the first time Rosie tried the portuguese phrase, it was awesome! Her pronunciation was actually really good. The app didn't translated it correctly, but I think it made some sense, at least in a context involving the both of you.

I love that you recommend DUOLINGO - Rose & Rosie, you are both becoming really good at soaking Espanol xx I actually heard Morgan Freeman and Colin Firth, there :) Quick story, I live in a rural Aussie town, so nobody in my circle speaks other languages, especially not Spanish. Anyway, I'm sitting on the High Street, reading my fave Spanish novel, in the heat of Summer, when a few people walked past, clearly speaking Espanol de Chile! Desperately shy and clearly gay little me sidled up, politely asking if they had read this book...well, they were lovely about my very basic Spanish skills. I tried learning about 20 years ago, but never used it. Now, I'm constantly on Duolingo, brushing up on my Spanish grammar. These people have actually invited me on a trip to their home, and then on to Patagonia...how sweet!

Μαξιλαριού(maxilarioú) is the genitive form of μαξιλάρι (maxilári).
Both long words no rookie in Greek could ever possibly annunciate even decently.

The best thing for me to do in duolingo is to not get competitive because it will literally go in one ear and out the other so I try doing it just the once a day and really focus and write stuff down on paper or my mirror if I'm having a really hard time with a word or phrase!! Sorry just thought it might help someone else.
