You will find readily available items like the inside of a roll of scotch tape, the inside of a paper towel holder, napkin ring holders, a shot glass, votive or tea light candle holders and more. Plus Lorrie shows you how to make your own egg stand out of an egg itself!

Great ideas for egg holds. I was thinking small taper candle stick holders would be good as well if you want some height to your egg.

Thank you. And, yes there are many items that can be used as egg holders. If you are a pysanky artist there's a wonderful pysanky egg group on facebook. It's called, Incredible Eggs. This group is very helpful with techniques, products, designs and most anything to do with pysanky.

It's a great group for pysanky artists. There are other groups for the other style eggs. On this group we talk wax, dyes, designs, and egging problems.

Question - can you store blown out Pysanky in a closed China cabinet?

Depending where you live. I live in the south and it's very humid, so the egg doesn't dry out. This causes all types of problems from oozing to exploding. In other areas many have great results with leaving their eggs full to dry out.
