    Hi i have a question i got dark brown hair and i wanted to dye my hair using the color magenta and red and also 20 developer. Do you think it’ll work since my hair is actually pretty dark & since i’m only using 20 developer ? sorry it’s my first time dying it.

      Yes ma’am, the color is made for dark hair specifically 💕

    I did this yesterday and the amount of compliments I had today at work was insane! Everyone loved the color. They were all like “ 😮 “ when I told them I dyed it myself lol looks like if I came out of the salon. Red magenta mix is beautiful.

      Thanks so much! I’ve never heard of that developer or used it so I would suggest to use 20 or 30 cream developer 🤗

    I’m so scared to dye my hair but I want this color . I’m also transitioning from
    permed to natural 😭 will this damage my hair ?

    • @KristinnPetty
      @KristinnPetty  3 роки тому +1

      As long as you use 20 volume you should be good.. but you won’t be natural if you dye your hair because it does slightly process the hair

    How did you remove dye from your forehead skin? Did you use anything specific?

    • @KristinnPetty
      @KristinnPetty  7 місяців тому

      I use Vaseline as a base on my skin before dying my hair and it washes off when I shampoo twice and condition ✨

    Hello :) I recently dyed my hair with the magenta and 30 volume developer and it lifted bright and beautifully but it definitely left my hair dry. Do you think if I use a 20v developer with magenta next time it will still keep my current color since it’s lifted already or would it make it darker?

    • @KristinnPetty
      @KristinnPetty  3 роки тому

      I’m sorry to hear that. The 20v might continue to dry your hair since it’s already fried I would suggest waiting 3-4 months before you dye again and I would only use the color on your roots 20v should match the rest of your hair if you just touch up the roots 💕 try my rice water recipe to get your hair back healthy

    When you dye your roots and lengths at the same time, doesn’t it make it hot roots? As the virgin hair catches haircolor faster?! Your roots look lighter than the rest of the hair?
    Love your videos btw, soooo helpful♥️♥️

      They’re only brighter in the front because I dye that hair first purposely because I like the look plus I used red in the front which is brighter than the magenta in the back.. thanks so much I’m glad you enjoy 🥰

      I think it looks fine, I always use this same combo and always do my roots at the same time for 7+ years now, never have had “ hot “ roots with this combo, and I get compliments daily! This is a gorgeous color for you ❤️ just scrolling through UA-cam watching other people re touch their red hair while mines processing 🥰

    Definitely has hot roots, the front piece distracts from the rest not in a good way. It does not look super damaged but I also wouldn’t say healthy I could tell it needed hydration. Never ever start with virgin roots unless you purposely want a root differentiation. 20vol was not the worst choice since you wanted lift.

    • @KristinnPetty
      @KristinnPetty  3 роки тому +8

      Thanks hun but I choose to dye the front brighter 😊 definitely the lighting if you’re seeing hot roots .. this is very much healthy and needed no extra moisture.. it’s ethnic hair.. so there’s gonna be extra texture you’re not used to 🤗 check out my other uploads to see the color better
