Just like me.I also stopped watching tennis after Steffi's retirement. It was absolutely shock for me.I first saw her playing against Martina.I supported her through our the match hoping that she will win but unfortunately she lost that match.I felt so bad for her.From that day to till now I love her very much.

Just watched her play Navaratilova U S Open 1989. Seffi was a graceful and beautiful Champion. A gigantic loss to tennis when she retired so young. But she left tennis a beautiful legacy for generations to watch at their leisure.
The only things I can say I love tennis very much cos this is my only sport so I Luvs all players good or bad so 2 watch this moment was very amazing to me!

I never really like Steffi when she played always felt she benefited greatly from that nut job who stabbed Seles. Seles had won 7 of the last 8 grand slams before that fateful day. She only won 1 grand slam after the stabbing. Steffi had won 11 slams before Seles was stabbed she won another 11 after Monica’s stabbing. So her total of 22 slams would’ve been considerably less. After meeting Agassi I changed my opinion of her she was a perfect wife and helped extend his career. I love them both and wish them a long and happy marriage together.
She might have won 15 max if it wasn’t for Seles . If Seles wasn’t stabbed she’d definitely have won more than Steffi as she was better on clay and hard courts but I don’t think she’d have won as many as Serena . So it’s a bit silly to say Seles would have been the leading grand slam winner in tennis if she’d not been stabbed.

I never really like Steffi when she played always felt she benefited greatly from that nut job who stabbed Seles. Seles had won 7 of the last 8 grand slams before that fateful day. She only won 1 grand slam after the stabbing. Steffi had won 11 slams before Seles was stabbed she won another 11 after Monica’s stabbing. So her total of 22 slams would’ve been considerably less. After meeting Agassi I changed my opinion of her she was a perfect wife and helped extend his career. I love them both and wish them a long and happy marriage together.

She might have won 15 max if it wasn’t for Seles . If Seles wasn’t stabbed she’d definitely have won more than Steffi as she was better on clay and hard courts but I don’t think she’d have won as many as Serena . So it’s a bit silly to say Seles would have been the leading grand slam winner in tennis if she’d not been stabbed.

Seles was good on the uniquely slow hard court surface (called “ReboundAce“) they had at the AO from 1988 to 2007. On the faster US-style hard courts she was far inferior to Steffi:
