actually makes me tearful - 2 of the tennis people adored when we were younger, now years later married, happy. The shy yet focused West German girl who lowers her head in front of a camera when the questions are about her and not her tennis game becomes an accomplished legend, admired still by so many fans.
Lee Hippolite------so true....did you hear about stefi being asked "to marry me stefi"...and she responded with "how much money do you have.....well, i am not sure about this....but i believe that was andre that asked that question?...but we would have to ask them to find out.......it did sound like him......
Steffi played a very competitive set in a wimbledon exhibition this year where she lost very narrowly 6:4 after having been in retirement for 11 years! Clijsters went on to win the US open against Serena Williams in the final that year! Steffi retired way to soon, could have easily won another couple of Grand Slams, but well, she really didn't want to play on after all these injury troubles. I really miss seeing her play. Most graceful player ever!
Started dating in 1999. 10 years later, they're that affectionate in public. In the most formal of sporting venues. Well after the 7 year itch. This one is one of those that lasts forever.
always loved to watch graf..... in fact, i could spend the entire time watching graf play just watching her footwork and her speed around the court and nothing else..
Graf could had win another half a dozen Grand Slams before retirement, for sure. But she chose to live a life (have kids and see them grow, built a solid marriage, become a respectful adult, entrepreneur, help others in need; all of that, surrounded by her close friends of her relatives) instead of making the crowds happy while she was spending her only life doing so. I heard that Nadal won his (I don’t know the number -or even care- ) French open and the next day could not stand from a chair because of the terrible pain he was on because of an ankle injury that had been treated with injections steroids and anesthetics every single day. Let’s see how he goes in 10 years with his own body crippled by long delayed injuries. As you can see, Graf energy and moves are intact; she is healthy and happy adult. We didn’t came to this world to make others people happy; to break our necks so others can enjoy themselves on us. We came here to live, to develop ourselves as individuals, to fulfill cicles and grow in consciousness (nurture our minds); that’s what Graf chose.
i love how andre and steffi are getting old and are retired from tennis and don't play anymore but you still know at the back of your mind that they could give azarenka and novak a run for their money respectively
I Love watching Steffi Graf play tennis she’s one of the greats I thought she retired too soon but that’s just me I thought she had the sexiest legs in tennis
Well i wouldn’t go as far as 1988, but maybe early 90’s back when she switched to her signature ponytail and never switched to anything else since than!…
Clijsters is 14 years younger than Graf, and at this stage Graf had been retired for nearly 10 years, whilst Clijsters had at this point just announced her re-entry into the professional tennis circuit/circus, after a two year break. So Graf holding her own like that is pretty impressive. The age difference between Agassi and Henman is only four years, and Agassi only retired in 2006, with Henman leaving the game in 2007, so they are more even in that respect. All in all, kudos to Graf/Agassi for showing the other two a thing or two! Although maybe being a couple helped them. ;-)
Yeah Kim had even more potential I think, but she seemed to want to focus on family and stuff. All I can say is that Serena should thank the stars that she did because her record would have looked less stellar.
Frauke Schmidt It's not just that, it's also the consistency of playing an event every 2 weeks. So yes she can hold her own at age 40 and possible even at 50, but she would have a very hard time coming back to tour and keeping up that consistency she had in the 90s. Especially with the players now, yes many of them are manly lol case and point, Serena, Sam Stosur etc. Now you don't even have to be all beefed up to hit the ball hard. Like Karolina Pliskova, she's skinny as a twig, pretty girl, but she hits the ball like a man.
Most probably she retired in 99& it was in 2009,after watching this it is hard to believe she retired.Watching her playing its really treat for Steffi lover.
Imho retired too early! (I blame marriage and Agassi in particular lol...) Should and could have won three more to make sure she surpasses Court’s all-time 24 and makes sure it would be nearly impossible for S.Williams to surpass her! The way she played in late 90’s reaching all those slam finals and even still being capable of winning them she looked like she could still be competitive for at very least a couple of years more and during that period she could have set an all-time record...but oh well...it is what it is...
@Max E This is the biggest lie i’ve ever heard, i don’t believe that even Steffi itself believes in that bullshit and if she really does she is fooling herself surely! Records means glory and fame and everyone loves glory and fame, no matter how much anyone tries to convince otherwise! Lol
@Max E She suddenly retired for completely different reason and that reason is known and is official - it is due to soon marriage to Agassi and further commitment to that relationship, because she didn’t want to mix sport and relationships, she wanted to spend all the time with her family and close to home…in that sense the retirement was understandable…
@Max E Lmao like i said that is a lie…she didn’t care for that record, because it was accomplished in an amateur era, that was heavily inflated and lacked serious competition! That and the fact, that Court is a religious conservative bigot, who destroyed her own reputation with her world views so-much, that nobody cares about her records, including Steffi! Lol So once again she lies in those interviews! If someone like Federer held that record in women’s tennis i can guarantee you it would be talked about non-stop, by Steffi included…
For all the stick he gets, Henman really IS great player. It's a pity he never won a major championship, but that doesn't mean he wasn't an excellent player.
Hey that was worth the wait watching on my small phone screen while Steffi and Kim have vicious rally Andre Henn stand with there arms on their hips waiting....go lady's to great player stef and Kim good to watch wouldn't put u to sleep....
She retired too early. She still had gas in the tank. Agassi had amazing talent and I'd live to see him on the seniors tour but I think he has back trouble.
Just imagine if Steffi played on just for another few years, Serena would have no records. Would have loved to see her play again Henin. I bet it would be very similar to Sampras-Federer.
Henman being schooled by Agassi, who is making jokes and playing for the crowd...just shows how good Andre really was at his peak. Steffi still utterly imperious and probably the best ever, considering she never had the raw mass and power of the Williams sisters to our-serve every other female player.
Steffi lost nothing! Not her talent, not her looks as a real lady! Funny, my favorite two were Andre and Steffi in early 90s and as Austrian Thomas Muster!
Steffi Graf is the best woman tennis player ever! Love you always
I seond that and the most attractive woman to ever walk on a court !
Reminiscing this in June 2023, with much appreciation and admiration. Thanks for this video😍
So happy for Andre. And graf too. Never seen this but glad they have eachother.
Just Graf ♥️🏆🎉🤌
Always wondered what Andre did in his previous life to be so richly rewarded with Steffi in this. He got the girl of every thinking man’s dreams.
Wow! Look at those moves by Steffi! She is the best! Love her so much. ❤
Hugs..kisses..between andre and steffi..just love it❤️
Seeing Steffi smiling is so awesome! What a great watch!
So nice to see Steffi and Andre together so obviously in love and so happy and they both deserve every ounce of happiness they receive .
my words!
actually makes me tearful - 2 of the tennis people adored when we were younger, now years later married, happy. My all time tennis favourite Steffi Graf.
LOVE Graf and Agassi!! watching them is so much fun.
Possibly the cutest/sweetest thing ever: Steffi and Andre
Lee Hippolite------so true....did you hear about stefi being asked "to marry me stefi"...and she responded with "how much money do you have.....well, i am not sure about this....but i believe that was andre that asked that question?...but we would have to ask them to find out.......it did sound like him......
Ehhhh.....

Her back was killing her.

always loved to watch graf..... in fact, i could spend the entire time watching graf play just watching her footwork and her speed around the court and nothing else..
dead right pure class a pleasure to watch you Stefanie!
I'm biased... just look at the anticipation and speed of Andre on some of the most crucial points in each game and the tie-break.
mbblover will
I love the way she hit her slice backhand ..
Me too Staffing footwork are immaculate.
She was and still my number one
Graft is out of this world, amazing!, she's a real tennis icon!.....
Grafs footwork is still unbelievable. Even at the age of 40.
+GeorgeHenryThomas And shriekers that make me mute the TV.
Grafs legs aren't bad either at the age of 40.
A world class athlete rarely goes out of shape no matter what age
She still the best women tennis player true her footwork are unique
Henman was such a joke, he didn't deserve to be there.
More than the tennis . I was just Adoring the amazing chemistry and bonding between classy steffi and Agassi 😎😎🤗
Steffi still looks amazing. Great legs, great footwork and awesome forehand
great legs for sure
Big Steffi Graf fan. The best player I saw.
Steffi's running forehand off Tim's volley at 3:30 is remarkable.... just pure gazelle-like, yet graceful movement there...
Oh and yes my girl Steffi looking amazing and still in top form .
3:10 best point of the match 😂😂😂 steffi’s scream 😂 and both her and Andre running 🏃♂️🏃♀️ in the same direction to get the ball 🎾 luv it LMFAO 😂😂
Omg Steffi, at 40 and after 2 kids looking better than she did when she was in her twenties. Love her 💓
Steffi and Andre two of the best ever at footwork and foot speed.
Hi hello thanks thank w
The Steffi Graf,greatest tennis player.

i love how andre and steffi are getting old and are retired from tennis and don't play anymore but you still know at the back of your mind that they could give azarenka and novak a run for their money respectively
Agassi's backhand & Steffi's forehand...they would've made an incredible doubles partners! Agassi of course stealing the show XD
Steffi ure still my number one n only😍
omg Graf is so lovely!!!
For 10 years after retirement and 2 kids, that quite impressive for Stefi.
I Love watching Steffi Graf play tennis she’s one of the greats I thought she retired too soon but that’s just me I thought she had the sexiest legs in tennis
Steffi looks and plays like in 1988.
Well i wouldn’t go as far as 1988, but maybe early 90’s back when she switched to her signature ponytail and never switched to anything else since than!…
I always loved Tim Henman's game. Four of the all time greats right here.
10 years younger and Steffi still would be Top 10 on the WTA Tour
Top 10???
Agassi with that penguin walk of his, man do I miss that era of tennis!
Clijsters is 14 years younger than Graf, and at this stage Graf had been retired for nearly 10 years, whilst Clijsters had at this point just announced her re-entry into the professional tennis circuit/circus, after a two year break. So Graf holding her own like that is pretty impressive.

after this rare comeback, Kim even won her Australian open and US open..
Yeah Kim had even more potential I think, but she seemed to want to focus on family and stuff. All I can say is that Serena should thank the stars that she did because her record would have looked less stellar.
Frauke Schmidt

The think there was mutual respect between all the players...as an exhibition it was stellar show of sportsmanship as well as play.
@@alanfrost75 dont forget about Justine...they both had winning records against the Williams but chose to leave tennis early to have families.
Most probably she retired in 99& it was in 2009,after watching this it is hard to believe she retired.Watching her playing its really treat for Steffi lover.

@Max E But it had nothing to do with “not caring for records” as you implied…lmao
@Max E Lmao like i said that is a lie…she didn’t care for that record, because it was accomplished in an amateur era, that was heavily inflated and lacked serious competition! Gosh 7 years ago time flys both couples enjoyed the game Kim is always smiling win or loose always loved following her games even in Australia
😂 goodness, it ❤🎉🎉🎉looks like juste steffi against all, and she smatch it
literally remember where i was when i was watching this in 2009
All 4 could still be on tour
The fact that two 40-year-olds practically beat two active players though!
Graf clearly could have been very successful in the 21st century.
She would have been although they aren’t playing full out in this exhibition match.
Agassi Graf 👍👍👍
Das waren Zeiten
i love all 4 of them
Henman being schooled by Agassi, who is making jokes and playing for the crowd...just shows how good Andre really was at his peak. Steffi still utterly imperious and probably the best ever, considering she never had the raw mass and power of the Williams sisters to our-serve every other female player.
way late here. K.C. was one of my faves - didn't see a miss here....
it was very entertaining match with great players!
6:31 damn, Andre gots them wheels!
That was a beautiful exhibition.
Graf, Navratilova and Williams, the greatest female players in history

Fun! great to see Steffi n Kim.
Best match ever😂🤞😍
no how she hit the ball behind her back over the net and it had the perfect spin that it went straight the ball boy...
COOL!
say what you want but steffi would be still on top.
shouldn't Andre have some say in that?
So cute
what legends !!!
That's exactly what I was thinnking!
Hey that was a good call on players
One legitimate "greatest of all time", two "great champions", and Tim Henman.
"greatest of all time"? come on
Well, let's say "one of the" (speaking of WTA of course)
At any rate, it's definitely between her and Navratilova
Steffi lost nothing! Not her talent, not her looks as a real lady!
Funny, my favorite two were Andre and Steffi in early 90s and as Austrian Thomas Muster!
They were both great in the 80's as well!
steffi immer noch in form. ich glaub, ich muss mal wieder sport machen
really lovely to see Steffi again.
Andre and Steffi has a chemistry,
i must say they should date!
AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I KNEW AGASSI WAS GOING TO GO FOR THE KISS DURING THE HANDSHAKE. LMAO
which pixel here is Agassi?
what a arodable couple! i
