Gday Peggy,
Am heading up that way on the 17th for a few days. Never been there before.
When you say out on flats, are you on the Bynoe side of the mouth? Do you have to watch the tide getting in out, and are you fishing like 1hr either side of the top of tide?
Cheers for any advise, a couple of cold beers for ya if we ever catch up.

Hi Marc, I fish both sides. The Bynoe side you fish before the water goes into the mangroves and after the water is just coming out of the mangroves. I would prefer when the water comes out of the mangroves, you seem to get more barra. You are roughly in a meter of water. Up the other way towards broncos, you fish along the mangrove forest, past the airport you need a 2.7 to 4mtr tide to get up there to fish the run in tide.
