@@lieutenantdelta8799 Yeah one of my locals said they're the new favourite child and I'm inclined to agree, he seems really solid under Modok though so that's exciting.
@@travisskane5459 Yeah that's totally fair, honestly I'm not even a big abomination fan outside of this but for some reason I was really excited about this one.
He is interesting. My biggest concern is he is very power hungry and the best way for him to get power is to take damage. Due to that I think a lot of people will just throw him away and ignore him and he would have to spender to get back into the fight. One thing that is interesting about his ornery effect is he doesn't have to remain standing to get the extra power so if he is dazed by the attack he would still get the bonus power so that is nice. Overall I think he will probably see some play in his affiliations and maybe power generation leadership teams.
@@shaunkrogulski9619 Yeah I actually just got a game with him and he's solid, mobility is a very real issue, power surprisingly didn't feel too bad, he felt super consistent with what he was doing and it was kinda great.
While his Gamma Mutated Hide does not say "if it is not dazed" like Rhino's Ornery, it still happens "after the effect is resolved". If Abomination gets dazed by the effect, then he no longer can be affected by superpowers after the effect that dazed him is resolved, so no, he won't gain the bonus power.
I'm so happy with this release for my Hydra. Really, really happy, I'm excited to have such a beefy boy in my main affiliation, I've already pre-ordered mine at my FLGS. With RS2 helping him with extra power and Strucker poisoning, gonna be fun!
I feel like abom may be power starved most of the match, especially once players ignore/displace him instead of trying to attack him. I like his card otherwise, the poison synergy with omega red is going to be so annoyingly fun, I love little niche things like that.
@@PureBrawler So after a couple practice reps, because it's a gainer he actually feels super consistent with what he's doing in a turn, if your opponent makes the mistake of damaging him at all he's having a great time, but even without he will always be able to walk, punch and either throw terrain long or hand out poison. Maybe it's because Hulk has disappointed me with failed builders so many times, but the consistency felt great.
@@ZetroxWargaming yeah, I keep forgetting he's an M move, so it will be harder to get him out of 1 tap range. Might work really well with Dorm or Mephisto leadership to have a superpower online every turn. I'm curious how he'll feel under RS1 to essentially double his power gain.
The lack of mobility or a solid crack back makes dropping him into my current plans a poor choice. I like the sculpt. I will eventually get it for a painting project down the road. Simply because it will look great on the shelf with immortal hulk. But for the time being it's a pass. Also i have zero interest in the wrecking crew as characters as and I would rather just pay the 5 for jugs from a game play stand point. That size 2 limitation on bulldoze hurts them.
Such an exciting drop for Criminal Syndicate. They’ve gotten so much love lately

I was always buying this box because of the Wreaking Crew! Seems like the Abomination will pair up with Omega Red.
@@geeksworkshop Yeah Omega Red and Abomination are gonna be a very deadly duo, I'm looking forward to running them!
No personal attachment to this box, but that does seem like a fun model to put on the board and start throwing things everywhere. 🤔

Nothing about his kit really says anti-hulk tech. Looks like fun though.
@@oprahsmash5631 Yeah he's actually really bad against Hulk, since he's immune to poison which turns off like half of his kit.
